Chapter 38 - Chapter 38

Alessandro and Sophia stood back-to-back, surrounded by agents in black tactical gear. Francesca's sinister smile seemed to gleam with triumph.

"Time to take down the Bianchi family," an agent growled.

Alessandro's eyes locked onto Francesca's, his voice low and deadly.

"You'll pay for this betrayal."

Francesca's laughter echoed through the room.

"You're no match for the government."

Sophia's hand slipped into Alessandro's, a spark of determination igniting between them.

"Together."

With a nod, they charged into battle. Gunfire erupted, agents falling as Alessandro and Sophia fought side by side. Their love and trust fueled their strength, their movements fluid and synchronized.

Just as victory seemed within grasp, Marco appeared, taking down agents with precision.

"Need a hand?" Marco asked, his expression cold.

Alessandro's eyes narrowed.

"Where's your loyalty?"

Marco's voice dripped with conviction.

"I'm making amends."

Together, the trio fought off the agents. Francesca fled, but not before Alessandro's eyes locked onto hers.

"This isn't over."

As the dust settled, Alessandro, Sophia, and Marco stood victorious. But questions lingered.

"Who authorized Project Eclipse?" Alessandro demanded.

Marco's expression turned grim.

"A government official, codename: 'The Archon'."

Sophia's eyes narrowed.

"We need to expose them."

Alessandro's jaw clenched.

"Agreed."

As they strategized, Alessia approached, her voice hesitant.

"Alessandro, I have news."

"What is it, bella?" Alessandro asked.

"A mysterious figure contacted me."

Alessandro's instincts screamed warning.

"Who?"

Alessia hesitated.

"They claim to be a whistleblower."

Sophia's eyes sparkled.

"Could be our ticket to taking down The Archon."

Marco nodded.

"I'll investigate."

Alessandro's eyes locked onto Marco's.

"Be careful."

Marco's expression turned resolute.

"For the Bianchi family."

The room fell silent, the weight of their task settling in. Taking down The Archon wouldn't be easy, but together, they vowed to fight.
