'What the hell?!'
Nova stood speechlessly with his mouth wide open. He couldn't believe just how Dave effortlessly crushed those elite pairs without moving an inch.
'I also want to do something like this.'
His yearning for power and sorcery becomes even more intense after seeing this spectacle.
Sorcery was one of the greatest reliance for the explorers inside the labyrinth where they had to risk their lives almost everywhere.
Everyone who has opened their spirituality has a chance to learn Sorcery. But based on the person's affinity, sorcery becomes a unique magical power of their own.
Most of the time, even a person with the same affinity cannot learn and copy others' sorcery, because their aspects tend to be different.
Just because a person has an ice affinity, doesn't mean he can control the entirety of the ice element and do whatever he wants. His aspect decides what he controls based on their affinity.
The aspects are what makes the sorcery unique, someone may have an aspect over only the transformation part of the ice, just like Dave or someone may have an extraction aspect over wood, like Lana.
"Nova, what are you doing?" Eric, who just magically appeared behind him, asked.
Nova was startled by Eric's sudden appearance. "Uh, Ah, Nothing. I was just thinking."
Eric inspected him scrutinizingly but walked away after without saying anything.
'Maybe Eric is afraid of Dave's powers, so that's why he follows his orders without saying anything.'
Nova followed him and arrived at the gathering place after checking whether the alpha wolf had a core.
'I thought there would be a core.'
Instead, he only took the claws of the wolf. He also wanted to take away its fur, but it would be hard to travel with a heavy load in this harsh condition, so he gave up his greed.
"Nova, did you find any core?" Lana asked softly.
"No. Did others find something?" Nova asked hopefully.
"No, we only got a single ordinary core," Lana replied with a straight face, not caring about the cores at all.
Nova sighed, clearly not happy with the core drop rate. After placing the claws in his backpack, he patiently waited for Dave to continue, although he knew the reason.
Lana and Eric who was beside him saw Nova's sneaky action, but they didn't say anything.
For them, the amount of money they spend on dinner would be more than an entire elite grade monster, so they weren't particularly strict about monster part distribution. Whoever wants can simply take them and if more than one wants, they would have to share it with the other.
After everyone became quiet, Dave asked without his amiable smile, "What are you even doing?"
"Do you even have a sense of urgency or do you think you will not die just because you are nobles?"
Watson Aristocracy members' faces became ugly after hearing Dave's harsh words. They never expected Dave to scold them in front of outsiders.
Seeing this Dave further raised his voice, "What, are you angry?"
"Yeah, I forgot you idiots only know how to complain and bad-mouth others. It's simply a waste of time to talk with you."
