About a few minutes later, Wang Sheng returned with all the work-study students from Dormitory Seven, except for Tang San, who had chosen not to join them.

Xiao Chenyu, noticing the commotion, frowned and asked sharply, "Wang Sheng, what are you trying to do?"

Ye Feng stepped forward calmly. "Didn't you say that we, as work-study students, could never afford to eat on the second floor? Well, here I am to prove otherwise. Why can't we come up to eat here?"

Xiao Chenyu laughed derisively. "Oh, the sun must have risen from the west today. Work-study students ordering food? What a joke!" His lackeys chuckled along, basking in their supposed superiority. He then signaled to a waiter. "Bring me one of your signature dishes—Crispy Spicy Chicken."

The waiter nodded and retreated to fulfill the order. A serving of Crispy Spicy Chicken cost ten silver soul coins, a small fortune for a work-study student whose daily wage was just ten copper soul coins. Xiao Chenyu smirked, confident that Ye Feng couldn't match him.

Ye Feng remained unfazed. "Waiter, bring a serving of Crispy Spicy Chicken for each table here."

The waiter froze in surprise, staring at Ye Feng. There were three tables where Ye Feng, Xiao Wu, Wang Sheng, and the other work-study students were seated—a total of nine people. This order alone came to 30 silver soul coins.

Xiao Chenyu raised an eyebrow and chuckled, his confidence unwavering. "Oh, so you want to compete with me, huh?" He waved at the waiter again. "Then bring me a serving of Steamed Eight-Treasure Pig."

The Steamed Eight-Treasure Pig, a signature dish of the Notting College cafeteria, cost 15 silver soul coins per serving.

Ye Feng smirked. "Waiter, make that one serving of Steamed Eight-Treasure Pig for each table."

Wang Sheng leaned closer to Ye Feng, his voice low and cautious. "Boss, that's way too much! A single serving costs 15 silver soul coins!"

Ignoring him, Ye Feng stared calmly at Xiao Chenyu. The latter, undeterred, upped the ante. "Bring me a plate of Shredded Duck with Mixed Sauce."

"Waiter, the same for each table," Ye Feng immediately followed.

The back-and-forth continued.

"Add a serving of Braised Conch."

"Braised Conch for every table."

"Winter Melon Cup."

"Winter Melon Cup for each table."

"Nanhu Vinegar Fish."

"Nanhu Vinegar Fish for every table."

"Spicy Prawns."

"Spicy Prawns for each table."

The entire second floor of the cafeteria fell silent, attention glued to this battle of wits. Students and teachers alike watched the spectacle, their faces filled with curiosity and amusement.

Even Xiao Chenyu's lackeys were dumbfounded. One of them muttered, "Boss, this guy must be insane. He's ordered enough food to cost over ten gold soul coins!"

Wang Sheng and the work-study students stood frozen, utterly bewildered by Ye Feng's actions. They couldn't fathom how he planned to pay for all this.

However, Xiao Wu, carefree as ever and unconcerned about money, snorted. "Why did you stop, Xiao Chenyu? You were so eager to compete, weren't you? Ye Feng matched every one of your orders and even made them for three tables. You only ordered for one. Who's the poor guy now?"

Xiao Chenyu's face darkened. "Hmph! Little girl, you don't understand wealth. My family is one of the richest in Notting City. I'll show you what true wealth looks like." He raised his hand. "Waiter! Bring me a Roasted Whole Tiger, thirty years old!"

Gasps rippled through the room. Roasted Whole Tiger was a premium delicacy, made from a tiger-like soul beast cultivated for thirty years. A single serving cost a staggering fifty gold soul coins.

Xiao Chenyu grinned smugly, confident that this would finally end the contest.

Without missing a beat, Ye Feng responded. "Waiter, one Roasted Whole Tiger for each table."

The room fell into stunned silence.

Xiao Chenyu's jaw dropped. Even his lackeys stared at Ye Feng as though he were a madman.

Laughter erupted from a few onlookers, mixed with derisive whispers. Most students and even some teachers doubted Ye Feng's ability to pay for such extravagance. His actions seemed reckless, if not outright foolish.

The waiter, who had remained silent so far, finally spoke up, his tone laced with irritation. "Young man, do you know how much all of this will cost? Over one hundred and sixty gold soul coins! Are you playing games with me?"

Ye Feng flicked his wrist casually, and a glint of light caught everyone's eyes. He retrieved a sleek black card from his bracelet storage soul guide and held it up.

The cafeteria fell into chaos.

"Storage soul guide!"

"A black card!"

The black card, a rare and prestigious item, symbolized immense wealth and status. Only the elite of society possessed one. Even among Notting City's nobility, few were qualified to hold such a card.

Xiao Chenyu froze, disbelief etched across his face. "This... this can't be real!"

Murmurs of awe and speculation filled the room, but Xiao Chenyu quickly regained his composure, sneering. "That's fake! How could a mere work-study student own a black card? It must be stolen, or you picked it up somewhere!"

Ye Feng's lips curled into a cold smile. "Fake, you say? Well then, let's find out. Waiter, verify it and process the payment."

The crowd watched, breathless, as the waiter hesitated before reluctantly stepping forward. Xiao Chenyu's confidence faltered. If Ye Feng's black card turned out to be genuine, Xiao Chenyu knew he had overplayed his hand—and humiliated himself in front of everyone.
