Somewhere in Tokyo, inside a Hospital

The sterile, quiet hallway of a prestigious Tokyo hospital was dimly lit, the soft humming of fluorescent lights filling the silence.

A group of bodyguards, dressed in dark suits, stood like statues in perfect formation. Their eyes scanned the area vigilantly, ensuring that nothing disturbed the momentous event unfolding behind the massive double doors of the VVIP room.

A young man in his mid-twenties sat at the edge of a plush chair, his body tense and rigid. His hands gripped the armrests so tightly that his knuckles had turned white, betraying the nervous energy thrumming through him. His suit, expensive and perfectly tailored, draped elegantly over his broad shoulders, but it did little to mask the unease that had settled in his chest.

Akira Nakamura was the embodiment of wealth, with his sharp jawline, clear blue eyes, and smooth black hair that fell slightly over his forehead. His face, typically one of calm composure and confidence, was now twisted with worry. He shifted his weight, glancing frequently at the closed door as if expecting it to swing open at any moment.

The ticking of his elegant watch echoed in the otherwise still corridor, a constant reminder of the time slipping away.

Beside him, a young woman in her thirties, dressed in a form-fitting business suit, leaned forward in an attempt to comfort him. She held a sleek tablet in her arms, but her focus was entirely on her boss.

Her name was Mei, and she had worked as Akira's secretary for years. Though her role was usually one of efficiency, today she found herself offering more personal support than she had ever expected.

"Mr. Nakamura, please try to relax," Mei said softly, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Everything will be fine."

Akira's lips tightened, but he didn't respond. His gaze remained locked on the door, his breath shallow and uneven. "I just… I need to know she's okay, Mei. I can't lose her. Not after everything we've been through."

Mei's face softened with sympathy. She knew the deep love Akira had for his wife, a love that was unwavering and pure. The woman who had stood by his side for years, through thick and thin.

Akira had always been strong, a leader of one of Japan's most successful corporations, but today, his usual poise had abandoned him.

Today, he was simply a man who feared losing the woman he loved.

The silence stretched on, each passing second feeling like an eternity.

Mei could only watch as Akira clenched his fists again, his knuckles white with anxiety.

Finally, after what felt like an unbearable wait, the door creaked open, and a nurse emerged, her face tired but smiling. Akira was on his feet before she even had a chance to speak.

"Nurse! How is she?" Akira's voice trembled with anticipation, his breath coming in quick bursts.

The nurse, a young woman with kind eyes, took a small step back, raising her hand in an attempt to calm him.

"Mr. Nakamura, please take a deep breath," She said gently. "Congratulations. Your wife has given birth to a healthy boy."

Akira's heart skipped a beat, his eyes wide with disbelief. A wide smile began to spread across his face.

"A son…?" He whispered in awe, as though the words themselves were a dream come true. "Can I see them? Can I see my wife and my son?"

The nurse hesitated, her smile faltering slightly. She exchanged a brief, uncertain glance with a doctor who had just stepped into view. Akira caught the shift in her expression, his smile faltering.

"I'm afraid…" The nurse hesitated, then continued with difficulty. "I'm so sorry, Mr. Nakamura, but... we were unable to save your wife."

The world seemed to stop. Akira's eyes widened, his breath catching in his throat.

For a moment, he couldn't process the words, the meaning. His mind refused to accept it.

"What… what do you mean?" His voice was hoarse, cracking under the weight of the news.

The nurse lowered her gaze, unable to meet his eyes. "Mr. Nakamura, I'm so sorry, but your wife… she didn't survive the procedure."

It was as though the ground had been ripped from beneath his feet. Akira's legs gave way, and he collapsed to his knees on the polished hospital floor. His face went pale, and his entire body trembled violently. His hands reached out in desperation as if he could grasp onto something to hold himself together.

"No... no, no…" His voice broke as his body shuddered with grief. "How could this happen? She... she was supposed to be fine... we were supposed to be a family…"

Mei stepped forward, her face stricken with sorrow, but she knew better than to try to console him at this moment.

Akira needed to grieve, needed to release the torrent of emotion that had been building inside him.

His sobs filled the hallway, raw and guttural.

The bodyguards and nurses, standing in silence, exchanged pained glances, but no one dared to approach him. They understood—this was a loss too great to be soothed by words.

Minutes passed, but to Akira, it felt like hours.

Finally, the soft sound of footsteps approached him. Another nurse appeared, holding a small bundle in her arms.

Akira's tear-streaked face turned upward as she kneeled beside him, her eyes filled with compassion.

"Mr. Nakamura," The nurse said softly. "Your son… he's here. Would you like to meet him?"

Akira blinked rapidly, as though trying to clear the haze from his vision. He wiped his eyes, still trembling, but this time there was something else in his gaze. A flicker of hope, of something he hadn't known he needed until this moment.

He slowly reached out, his hands unsteady, and took the bundle from the nurse's arms. For a moment, everything else faded away. It was just him and this tiny life, this fragile new beginning.

"Liam..." Akira whispered, the name coming naturally, almost as though it had been destined. "Liam Nakamura. My son."

The baby, only hours old, gurgled and cooed, oblivious to the weight of the world around him. Akira's heart swelled with a sense of profound love, a feeling so intense it threatened to overwhelm him. He kissed the child's forehead, his tears falling once more, but this time, they were tears of joy.

"Look at you," Akira murmured, holding his son close, his voice thick with emotion. "You're perfect… just like her."

Mei smiled softly, wiping away her own tears as she watched the scene unfold before her. "Yes, Sir. Young Master Liam is as handsome as you."

Akira's chest swelled with pride as he gazed at his son. For a moment, the world seemed to right itself. His heart still ached from the loss of his wife, but now, there was something to live for.

Someone to carry on her legacy, someone to love.

As Akira stared down at his son, a strange sensation swept through him.

On the other hand, Liam's focus was on something else.

Just a few seconds ago when his father took him in his arms, a melodious female voice echoed in his head.

Ding!

Check-in! Akira Nakamura, Host's father. Super Rich and very important. Obtained 100 times Comprehension.

Ding!

The host can comprehend any ability from physical to special 100 times faster than others.

Boom!

The body shook, the brain roared, and there was no limit to the amount of joy Liam was feeling at that moment...

After God's grandson felt pity on Liam and made a request to his grandpa, God provided Liam with two blessings.

First, Liam was Blessed with the Cursed Energy. It meant that the Cursed Energy loved Liam so much that he was born with a limitless amount of Cursed Energy. Not only that but his cursed energy control was perfect from his birth and his recovery speed defied all logic.

To survive in a world dominated by bug-like characters like Gojo Satoru and Sukuna, Liam needed to have a decent cheating ability to at least survive.

The second was a check-in system. It would get triggered every time Liam touched someone or if someone else would touch Liam.

But there was a catch and the quality of the reward depended on the importance of the character.

Let's compare his father, Akira Nakamura, one of the richest men. He was super important despite being not the main character in the series since he was a man of power who could influence the country.

On the other hand, the doctor and nurses were just extras and Liam could only receive worthless rewards.

Also, every person had one time limit and that meant Liam could only receive a reward once by one person.

But a world filled with Trillions of humans, Liam would not have any problem at all.

Liam was happy since he was seeing a bright future in his new life.
