Synopsis
People tend to over-inflate strong quirks. I mean I get it All Might is cool, Endeavor can burn shit. But strength isn't everything. To me, precision, agility, and the element of surprise are a lot more effective. Although I get it, talk is cheap, actions speak louder than words. So watch me, with a quirk like mine success is just a matter of pulling the right strings.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1- Enter the Spider

Nezu is a small stout creature who appears to be a possible combination of several different animals, including a dog, a mouse, and a bear, which would make him a chimera. He has the head of a mouse with circular black eyes, a large scar over the right one, relatively rectangular-shaped ears with pale pink insides slanting outwards from the top of his head, and an elongated muzzle with a small round nose. His fur is white and has large, dog-like paws with pink pads and a thin tail like that of a cat.

He sports a white dress shirt, a dark red tie around his neck, a black double-breasted waistcoat, and matching dress pants. He wears orange lace-up sneakers with incredibly thick soles which seem to be quite large on him.

The principal of U.A High was watching the screens as the newest batch of students challenged the second round of the exams to each a spot amongst the first years. Some looked promising with unique quirks but too linear in how they utilized them and others had generic quirks, which forced them to be somewhat creative.

He turned his head to Aizawa Shota aka Eraserhead an underground Pro-Hero and the Headteacher for class 1A.

Shota is a tall, slender man with pale skin and messy, shoulder-length black hair that partially obscures his face. His half-open black eyes often give him a fatigued appearance, and he is typically recognized for his worn-out look. His facial hair tends to be stubbly and unkempt, except when he needs to present himself well for the press. His eyes appear tired and flat unless he's engaged in combat.

He wears a loose-fitting black outfit, consisting of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants that tuck into his boots. A utility belt and his signature wrap scarf are constant features of his attire. Beneath his scarf, he conceals a pair of bright yellow goggles, which he uses during battles.

"What do you think?" he asked the tire-looking man.

The man snorted in response before answering."Problem children." he said before pointing out a few. One was an ash-blonde boy with an explosion quirk. " Brash and carless. His only focus is the faux villains. A quirk like his does a lot of collateral damage yet he doesn't seem to care."

He then pointed to another screen, with a blonde young man with an electric-based quirk " This one overused his quirk and is now a liability." he said as the young man was walking around with both thumbs up making strange sounds.

Nezu saw where he was going and pointed to a screen. "What about that student?" he said.

Aizawa paused and looked at the screen he was pointing at. Once was a young man with dark brown skin, he had black dreads with an added low fade at the sides and back. His eyes were sharp, amber-brown with a slight reflective sheen reminiscent of a spider's eyes. His gaze was intense and focused hinting at his keen awareness as he surveyed the faux battlefield. His lashes were long and thick, adding a certain depth to his expression.

His body was lean but muscular, with a toned, athletic build. He had broad shoulders and defined arms. He wore a simple outfit. Not a tracksuit like most of the other students but jogger tight-fitted leaves black jersey and a black half-face mask that covered from his nose to his neck.

But that drew Nezu's attention and the subsequent surprise from he now watching Aizawa was his position. He was seemingly in a perched position elevated five stories standing in mid-air. It was the sigh of several faux villain bots suspended and tied up and hanging from strings or perhaps webs that made them realize what he was standing on.

The boy seemed to have marked his territory and anything that came in range joined the robots. Said robots had clean slash marks and narrow holes reminiscent of bullets in their chassis. Aizawa zoomed in on the live image and changed angles to get a better view.

Eventually to get a grasp on what he was seeing he pulled up the boy's info on screen. The young man's name was Rui Kyriakos. Father's name is Henry Kyriakos a man of Greek descent who lived in America with his wife Ami Koshimizu a Japanese native. His father's Precision Threading quirk allows him to create and control fine threads at will, though these threads are more limited in strength compared to the mother's silk. However, he can control these threads with exceptional accuracy and dexterity, allowing him to perform precise maneuvers, construct detailed shapes, or use the threads in intricate traps. His threads are limited to short to mid-range control but are strong enough for basic combat use.

The mother's quirk was a mutant type called Arachnid Physique. His mother has a spider-based mutant quirk called Arachnid Physique that gives her enhanced strength, agility, and spider-like features. This includes natural wall-crawling ability, heightened reflexes, and slightly enhanced vision in low light (similar to certain nocturnal spiders). She also has retractable spinnerets on her wrists, allowing her to produce strong, silk-like threads. These threads are limited in quantity but have natural durability, useful for binding or creating web-like barriers. Her physique remains mostly human, with the spider traits adding only subtle changes.

" Hmm both versatile quirks" Aizawa mused out loud.

"Indeed" agreed Nezu as he too took in the info nation. "But his quirk is quite the combination of the two," added Nezu with a smirk.

"Hmm, his quirk is called String Weaver it's a mutant/emitter type. It allows him to generate and control incredibly strong, flexible strings from his body. The strings can be used for various purposes including, offense, defense, and mobility. Hmm seems about right. He can create strings of various thicknesses and lengths. It seems that initially, he was only able to produce basic strings but, with practice, he was able to generate durable, nearly unbreakable strings. He also possessed retractable venomous fangs and claws." Nezu was liking what he was seeing more and more.

The quirk was basic on the surface but as your Rui was proving ingenuity and a good physique made all the difference in quirk use.

While the teachers were watching the performances of the potential new students of U.A. on-screen Rui was having a dilemma of sorts as he crouched on his web platform.

"Hmmm, this is boring. I thought U.A. was supposed to have the hardest exam of all the hero schools in Japan. I mean Mom recommended it, and although Dad agreed he'd have preferred I stayed in the US. But the spider-themed brand is overused over there. Only one arachnid-like hero can shine in the spotlight and that will be me." he said as he nodded in agreement to his own words.

"Perhaps I should have tried out for Shinketsu instead. I heard they are more hardcore. Although I haven't given this school a chance and this is just the entrance exam. Hmhm, very well I shall put in a bit more effort and see what U.A. has to offer once I'm officially a student."

He said as he felt vibration through his strings. " Ahh, more targets for a shinobi of my caliber," he said as he jumped off the web in the direction of the vibrations. He landed on a building but continued moving with no break in his momentum as launched himself towards the next building and then the next until he arrived at the source of the vibrations.

Upon arrival, he saw a squad of faux villains as well as a girl trapped in his sticky strings, one of his favorite trap strings to use. They were hard to see, super elastic, therefore hard to break out from, and had adhesive strength on par with super glue. Long story short you get trapped with enough around you and excluding careful outside help you're not going anywhere.

Ignoring the struggling faux villain he focused on the girl. She was a short girl of a relatively slender build and had notably large hands. Her appearance is rather frog-like; she has a wide mouth, which dips down a little in the middle just like a common frog, and oval-shaped eyes with large, black irises, their lower eyelashes visibly pronounced.

Her hair is a dark sea-green color and is very long, reaching to her waist with the ends tied together at the bottom in a large bow of hair. She has two shoulder-length clumps framing her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some partially swept to each side.

He lowered himself on a string from his index finger. He approached the girl who noticed his arrival.

"A little help kero." she said he tilted his head to the side when he heard the vocal twitch.

He leaned forward until his face was right in front of hers, drawing a slight blush from the front girl." A frog caught in a spider web. You see the irony in that...yes?" he asked with s somewhat amused toned

The girl's blush deepened as she understood what he meant. Some frogs eat spiders and are too heavy to get caught in the webs of the arachnids.

"Now, now, not need to be embarrassed froggy-chan," he said he snapped his fingers and caught her before he could drop. He then set her on the ground gently. While she was in his embrace she took in his scent and felt the muscles under his clothes.

As she was about to thank him they both turned their heads as a loud noise was heading in their direction. She crouched into an all-four position. He glanced down at her and took in the sight.' Curvy for a frog' he thought before he sas the towering zero pointer getting closer.

"Hmmm now this is more like it," he said with outstretched arms. Excited to cure his boredom.

"Hop along cute frog. A shinobi's work is never done." before he jumped up clearing two stories, flicked his index finger out connecting a string to a building up ahead, and pulled himself forward increasing his speed, launching himself at the incoming foe."

Seeing his charge at the foe, The girl wanted to help, but knowing there was nothing she could do, not want to get in his way. She turned around and headed in the opposite direction towards the exit of the faux city.

As Rui got close enough to the villain he began his assault. Rapidly flicking his fingers deploying his strongest and most elastic strings. He connected them to the body of the giant faux villain and then to the surrounding building making the already slow-moving bot slow to crawl. Seein his prey right where he wants it. He gave the bot no reprieve. He stated bouncing off the strings in the area around the bot. His body was a blur of speed as he bounced from string to string with precision, he then lashed out his arms deploying sharp string from his fings that he had arched in claw-like fash as he lacerated the body of the bot.

The teachers watching from the control room we surprised by this performance. It was almost pro-level work. Certainly not something you'd expect from a student.

"DAMNNNN," said Present Mic in his signature verbose tone.

"Impressive work. He assessed the situation and deployed a suitable counter for a bot of that size. Taking advantage of its slow speed and essentially making it stationary, he then utilized his strings as anchors and platforms and turned his natural flexibility and speed up to eleven by creating an environment in which he had the upper hand. What kind of training did this kid go through I wonder" said Snipe the resident cowboy sharpshooting hero.

Midnight was shuddering as she thought of how the boy could restrain her. How tight he could make them, what fun they could have.

There was a skinny, almost skeletal man, he had blonde wavy hair, with two strands framing his face. He wore a suit and had a worried expression on his face as he looked at the performance of the young man who was impressing all his colleagues.

He turned his gaze to another screen that had a you man with a ruffled mop of dark green hair panicking as he tried and failed to get any points and the approaching zero pointer in that area was not helping.

'Midoriya shounen, the road to number 1 hero will not be easy, with such talented individuals among your generation.' he thought worriedly for his you successor.

Meanwhile, the battle between Rui and the zero pointers was reaching a crescendo. Rui's string whips were doing damage but the cuts weren't reaching deep enough.

"Hmmm, this shinobi deems you worthy of a proper send-off," said Rui as upon his next jump to a string he angled himself upwards and ascended high above the robot. High enough to get a nice view of the entire zone he was in. When he was high enough Rui created string from the heel of his foot and attached it the his glute. The string began to vibrate at high speed and as he descended he started to rotate forward building up momentum.

"This kid is nuts" commented Power Loader.

"No, he knows his body and his abilities better than we do. Let's see what he does," said Nezu

When he was in the range of the struggling trapped zero pointers he announced his move out loud and proudly as the vibrating string on his leg made contact with the faux villain's head.

"String Saw" shouted the boy as his leg sliced through the ahead of the bot without resistance. Drew his leg back in an arc and split the robot's head in two. Before he hit the ground he landed on a string platform.

He looked up and admired his work as he chuckled to himself. He ran his fingers through his hair. "Hmph all in the day's work of a shinobi," he said as he jumped down from the platform span on his heels, and headed for the exit.

He then pauses in his stride and snaps his fingers cause all the stings in the area to disapate.

"A shinobi mustn't leave evidence."
