Chapter 19 - Chapter 20:The attack

Back at the Silvermist pack, all seemed quiet. The sun was setting, casting a warm orange glow over the landscape.

Alpha Kael, the ruthless leader of the Shadow Claw pack, stood at the edge of the forest, his eyes fixed on the Silvermist pack's den. A sly smile spread across his face as he thought about the perfect timing of his attack.

"Ravyn, my trusted advisor," Alpha Kael said, his voice menacing low . "The time has come to reclaim what's rightfully mine. The twins will soon be mine, and no one will be able to stop me."

Ravyn nodded in agreement. "The Silvermist pack is at its weakest, Alpha Kael. Alpha Thane and Beta Micheal are away, seeking the counsel of a Seer named Namarie. We have the perfect opportunity to strike."

Alpha Kael's smile grew wider as he thought about the impending attack. He had been planning this moment for years, ever since his defeat at the hands of Alpha Thane. He had spent years gathering his strength, building his army, and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

And now, with Alpha Thane and Beta Micheal away, he knew he had the upper hand. The Silvermist pack would be caught off guard, and he would be able to take the twins without a fight.

"Let's move out," Alpha Kael said, his voice firm. "We have a pack to conquer."

Ravyn nodded, and together they led their army of Shadow Claw warriors towards the Silvermist pack's den.

The Silvermist pack, though caught off guard, quickly rallied to defend their home against the invading Shadow Claw pack. The air was filled with the sound of snarling, growling, and snapping as the two packs clashed.

At the forefront of the battle, the twin fought bravely alongside their elder brother, Ryder. Despite their youth, the twins were skilled warriors, and they worked seamlessly together, taking down Shadow Claw warriors with ease.

Ryder, with his quick reflexes and sharp instincts, took on several Shadow Claw warriors at once, his movements fluid and deadly. The twins watched in awe as their big brother took down opponent after opponent.

The rest of the Silvermist pack fought valiantly, using every trick in the book to hold off the Shadow Claw pack. But despite their bravery, they were vastly outnumbered, and it seemed that the tide of the battle was turning in favor of the invaders.

But when it seemed like all was lost, the twin and their brother launched a fierce counterattack, taking down several high-ranking Shadow Claw warriors. The momentum of the battle began to shift, and the Silvermist pack started to gain ground.

Alpha Kael, enraged by the sudden turn of events, charged forward, his eyes blazing with fury. "You think you can defeat me?" he snarled, his voice dripping with venom. "I'll show you what true power looks like!"

Ryder, his eyes blazing with determination, stepped forward to face Alpha Kael. "You're not taking my siblings anywhere," he growled, his voice low and menacing.

Alpha Kael sneered, his eyes flashing with amusement. "And who's going to stop me, little Ryder?" he taunted. "You think you're strong enough to take on me and my pack?"

Ryder stood tall, his shoulders squared. "I don't need to be stronger than you," he said. "I just need to be strong enough to protect my siblings. And I'll do whatever it takes to keep them safe."

Alpha Kael snarled, his face twisting with rage. "You're brave, I'll give you that," he spat. "But bravery won't save you little brat. Nothing will save you."

Ryder knew that he had to act fast. He turned to look at Aurora and Aiden , his eyes locking onto theirs. "Run," he said, his voice firm. "Get out of here, now."

The twins hesitated, their eyes fixed on Ryder. But Ryder knew that he had to get them to safety. "Go!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the clearing.

The twins turned and ran, disappearing into the trees. Ryder watched them go, a sense of relief washing over him. He knew that he had to hold off Alpha Kael and his pack long enough for his siblings to escape.

He turned to face Alpha Kael, his eyes blazing with an intense fire. "If you want to take my siblings, You'll have to go through me first," he growled in a menacing low voice .

Alpha Kael sneered, his eyes flashing with amusement. "I'm shaking in my boots," he taunted. "Let's see how long you last."
