Ryan slowly opened his eyes as found himself lying in a well furnished room which held a royal allure to it.
Ryan sat bolt upright. He looked around his unfamiliar environment. Wondering where he was.
'Have i been reincarnated?' Ryan asked himself, wondering if he was already reincarnated.
His eyes continued to survey the fancy room. He figured that he was now in his new world. Judging from the interior design of the room. The materials used were not your regular choice for a home design.
He sat up straight as he tried recalling his previous events. He remembered his passionate act with Nyx. He licked his lips, cherishing the feeling.
Suddenly, a mechanical chime rang in his head.
"Ding!!"
A panel materialized before him.
[You have been chosen by the goddess of the underworld.]

Ryan felt a wave of memories wash over him. He'd gotten the basic information about his new world.
Vaeloria, a world filled with magic, mysterious beings and ancient creatures. In this world, magic meant everything as it was the key to attaining power.
This world is no different from your typical fantasy narratives. In which there are magic beings that sit at the pinnacle of all races.
Vaeloria was a world parallel to Earth in some ways. Being in a world where magic determined the outcome of every situation was not only entirely strange to Ryan, but also felt exciting.
Vaeloria was once a peaceful world where beings of all races lived together in harmony. But that system of living was destroyed.
Several centuries ago, Vaeloria was engaged in devastating war with demonic entities that came from another dimension.
These entities were known as Void Slayers. There goal was to enslave all races of Vaeloria. Their leader was a demonic being named Morthrax.
He dealt a devastating blow on the world at the time. Many warriors of Vaeloria were lost during the onset of the battle. Just as when all hope seemed lost.
Other beings arrived on Vaeloria. It turns out that they were from another dimension different from theirs. They bestowed great powers and skills upon the warriors of Vaeloria. They were known as Supreme Beings.
With their newfound powers the warriors leaded a rebellion against the tyranny of Morthrax.
Though, many lives were lost during the battle. Vaeloria remained victorious at the end as they were able to lock up Morthrax in an endless dimension.
The people rejoiced for some time. Peace reigned for some time. But all that started to change slowly.
The Void Slayers were slowly returning as they attacked countless villages. Many villages who heard of this were sent to the battlefield as they held the front line of defense.
It was then and there they realized that slaying these entities, leveled up their powers to unimaginable heights.
It was then the first Monarch emerged. He stood at the pinnacle of all races. Holding unparalleled powers and magical prowess.
He built the Dungeons which were now present in Vaeloria. These Dungeons were made to contain the rampaging entities that sought to enslave them.
An institution was later about four decades ago. It's main goal was to teach and train young people who had skill or magical abilities to control and effectively manage their skills.
At a certain age, everyone is given a particular skill from the Sumpreme Beings.
Each skill accentuated their behaviour and personality. Each suited for them.
The Supreme Beings were like the governors who ruled over Vaeloria.
Each level up had it's own powerhouse.
Eack ranking from the lowest to the highest.
[Acolyte] Beginners level for initiate with little control over shadow magic able to perform low-range magic attacks.
[Initiate] Intermediate level where individual gains deeper control of his/her magical prowess. Cloaking themselves and creating temporary illusions.
[Adept] Moderately experienced in specialized fields like;healing, elemental manipulation, shadow cloaking. Adept can also handle solo missions or minor authority in their guilds or order.
[Warden] They act as the protectors of minor towns. They hold substantial combat prowess and magical abilities. They are granted with special skill like telekinesis and minor healing.
[Spellblade] A mix of magic and combat abilities, spellblades are powerful warriors capable of mixing swordplay with arcane magic or elemental spells.
[Archon] Highly respected figures with refined, advanced control over one or more magical elements. They can conjure storms, manipulate fire, and bend light, taking control of darkness.
[High Lord/Lady] They are important figures which hold unmatched magical prowess. Able of healing entire groups. They could control large amounts of elemental magic. They were capable of defeating foes and were revered as leaders in their domain.
[Elder Sages] Highly respected and knowledgeable in multiple areas of magic. They easily manipulate reality in suble ways, perform ancient magic and had access to ancient knowledge.
[Ascendant] This is the last stage to becoming a Monarch. They are indi8who possess god-like abilities over elements, life and death. They can perform amazing feats such as summoning mystical creatures. They had the ability to bend reality to their will and control minds.
[Monarchs] They are the supreme beings of this hierarchy, with unrivaled power against reality. Monarchs can shape landmasses, summon legions of powerful beings. They wielded god-tier influence as they in complete control of all elements, balancing the force of harmony or tyranny.
Ryan realized how powerful the beings in this world were. They were not your average fantasy god-like beings. Rather they possessed unrivaled power in which they stood at the top of all races.
Ryan thought about the long journey ahead of him. The road to greatness was not an easy one. He would have to face powerful foes, defeat unimaginable beings. This was just the start of what the future held in store for Ryan.
But he felt confident. With Nyx and his System by his side he could eventually achieve his goals.
