Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: Hua Shan Art (3)

Liu Zun's tone was serious as he spoke. He recalled how, in the past, the Liu family's ancestor had no peers to stand beside him in his final battle. Left to face all the great masters of the Huaxing Continent alone, wielding only the Stellar Coffin and the Starshard Blade, he ultimately had to perish alongside his enemies.

Hunter Liu smiled faintly. "These two grew up with me. Whatever benefits I gain, I won't leave them out."

Liu Zun nodded approvingly. "That's the best approach. In the future, when I activate the Stellar Coffin for your cultivation, its body-tempering abilities can also enhance their growth, accelerating their training."

"In that case, I'm deeply grateful," Hunter Liu said sincerely.

Suddenly, Hunter Liu sensed a flash of blue light shooting out from his mind, snaking through the air like a bolt of electric lightning, before swiftly entering the bodies of Liu Huihui and Liu Qin.

"Hmm…"

Shortly after the light entered them, Liu Huihui and Liu Qin let out soft groans, then opened their eyes and quickly stood up. Liu Qin glanced around before focusing on Hunter Liu. "Brother Hunter, are you alright? Where are we now? And what about that Eye of Hell?"

Faced with the flood of questions, Hunter Liu hesitated, unsure how to answer. He hadn't even asked Liu Zun what had become of the Eye of Hell. Instead, he replied, "We're still in Liu Song Village, and we're still at the shrine and cemetery. But while we were unconscious, the shrine disappeared. As for how it vanished or where it went, I don't know."

Liu Qin and Liu Huihui furrowed their brows, their faces full of disbelief.

After carefully scanning their surroundings for a moment, they realized that while many grave mounds remained, the shrine had indeed disappeared. The spot where they stood now seemed to be where the shrine once stood.

"The shrine really vanished into thin air? How is that possible?"

"Brother Hunter, this place feels eerie. Are there ghosts here?"

As Liu Qin pondered deeply, Liu Huihui suddenly let out a yelp, frantically brushing his arms as if shaking off something invisible. He hurried to Hunter Liu's side, looking genuinely frightened.

"Huihui, what are you doing? There are no ghosts here," Liu Qin snapped.

"You're a girl, naturally attuned to yin energy. Even if the atmosphere here is heavy with it, you wouldn't notice. But can't you see? The shrine vanished into thin air! If it wasn't the work of ghosts, then who else could have done it?"

"Hmph. I can't be bothered with you. A grown man believing in ghosts," Liu Qin scoffed, though her expression suddenly shifted as if something had dawned on her. She turned to Hunter Liu and said, "Brother Hunter, we should start looking for the treasure now."

Liu Huihui quickly chimed in. "Yeah, Brother Hunter! We've been unconscious for a while. The Skull Gang must be close by now. If we don't find the treasure soon, we'll be in big trouble when they arrive."

Hunter Liu shook his head with a smile. "No need to worry—the treasure has already been found. It's a miraculous Star Art that all three of us can cultivate. Once we train in it, we'll all reach the Meridian Opening stage within three months."

"Really, Brother Hunter? You're not joking? Wait, that can't be right. Star Arts require Meridian Opening cultivation to practice, don't they?" Liu Huihui's initial excitement gave way to confusion as he remembered the limitations of Star Arts.

Hunter Liu didn't bother explaining further. "There's no time to go into detail right now. We need to leave this place first. But before we go, I want to open the second pouch the village chief left me and see what instructions he has for us."
