Night slowly descends on the city that never truly sleeps. The lights from the airport and the surrounding streets refract into the sky, creating a dark blue arch that swallows up a scattering of stars. Some still glow, as if trying to maintain their place in the expanse of space, though their light is obscured by among the man-made glitter.
William Berg got into his private car, and walked through the busy streets. William saw in the distance, the silhouettes of tall buildings towering, decorated with neon lights that sparkled like jewels. The city streets pulsed in a never-ending rhythm, filled with speeding vehicles. at different speeds—some in a hurry, others enjoying the journey in the dark shrouded in light.
