Chapter 1 - MSIN: Chapter 1

(ShixT9: For those asking about his abilities or special talent idk man, i only know about his skin being Prince Arslan which i forgot to add lmao my bad, as for the other abilities im not sure.)---

The Leaf Ninja Academy bustled with activity.

"Good morning, Haori!"

"Good morning!"

Haori greeted his classmates with a friendly tone, though his heart was filled with gloom. His current predicament was as much of a burden as Sasuke's infamous stoicism. Sporting the face of a handsome prince Arslan, he was inexplicably popular with the girls in the school.

Seriously, did the Appearance Association pay you guys?

Haori couldn't help but curse his awful luck. His luck was way too good. During a truly unfortunate encounter with a super-douchey, incredibly edgy god of transmigration, he'd been given a second chance at life – a chance to be reborn, complete with a little bonus. He'd received three draws, his first landing on an E-grade item: a skin from some random anime character. Not a bad prize. With that skin and the support of the Appearance Association, he could have thrived in any slice-of-life anime. At the very least, he could have become a "Makoto" and enjoyed the sweet, sweet delights of a romantic comedy.

But, oh, the irony. In a fit of terrible luck, he drew an A-grade skill and an S-grade talent. And, to make matters worse, the god refused refunds. So, based on his newfound abilities, he was sent to the high-risk world of Naruto.

What the heck, he wasn't even that familiar with Naruto! He was a die-hard One Piece fan back in his old life. He'd often argue with Naruto fans online, but he actually had a pretty shallow knowledge of the Naruto plot.

Of course, while he was a bit clueless about the story, he knew most of the characters, especially the major ones. He owed that to his edgy teenage years, when he'd obsessed over comparing the strength of characters from different series. He used to write scientific papers like "The Practicality and Destructive Effects of the Rumble Rumble Fruit vs. Lightning Release: An Evaluation and Cost-Effectiveness Ratio Study." These dark, embarrassing memories had nearly caused him to bury himself alive back then, so he'd locked them away, only to find them useful now.

"Graduation is almost here..."

Gazing at the Leaf Ninja Academy's entrance, Haori couldn't help but feel a pang of emotion. He'd been in this world for ten years, entering the academy at the age of seven. Now, his time to graduate and head for the battlefield had arrived.

Haori – the name he inherited from his parents in this world.

Following the universal law for transmigrators, with their cars, houses, and busy or(deceased) parents, Haori was an orphan.

His backstory was set like this: His father was just a regular chūnin, tragically dying when the Great Ninja War began. His mother was a medical ninja, who, soon after giving birth, was called back to the front lines and never returned.

The truth was that, during these wars, all countries had adopted a common tactical understanding: Field hospitals were primary targets. When medical ninjas proved their value on both sides of the battlefield, they became both highly protected and highly targeted.

And yes, it was the middle of the Third Great Ninja War. Death was a daily reality, and the war raged on relentlessly.

These wars were all-out brawls between the nations, and ironically, the Fire Country, home to the strongest village, was always under attack from multiple fronts.

Earth, Lightning, Water, and Wind Countries.

Rock, Cloud, Mist, and Sand Villages.

The Leaf and Fire Country were forced to fight on multiple fronts, leaving them desperately short on manpower. The Ninja Academy's curriculum was compressed to just three years, and there were no age restrictions for enrollment.

The legendary Kakashi Hatake had enrolled alongside Haori, at the tender age of five. He'd graduated early after only half a year at the academy, then headed for the battlefield.

So, why did Haori join the Ninja Academy and want to become a ninja?

Because being alone was just too boring.

He was a person from another world, an alien and a man from the future, in a way. He was also a superpowered individual, and he was bored. This all being said, he probably should have gone to the "World-Making Suzumiya Haruhi Brigade" instead of the Naruto world.

"Hey, Haori, what are you spacing out about? Do you feel confident about the graduation exam?"

As Haori was lost in thought, a hand clapped down on his shoulder. He didn't need to turn around to know who it was.

Might Guy, one of the perennial bottom-feeders, the future taijutsu master, and currently a fledgling taijutsu expert.

And then there was Obito, the other perennial bottom-feeder, a self-proclaimed elite ninja whose actual performance and battle strength paled in comparison to Might Guy. He'd become one of the ultimate villains after his crush's tragic demise, driven by his obsessive love.

Haori knew all this, of course.

These two had consistently ranked last and second to last, so Haori's grades were definitely not a cause for concern.

"Definitely more confident than the two of you," Haori replied, tilting his head with a deadpan stare, particularly at Obito. He couldn't fathom how someone like him could be driven to obsession. Did he even have the brains for it?

"You don't need us to worry about you. Instead of worrying about me, you should be worried about yourselves," he continued, mercilessly.

Haori's class at the Ninja Academy had eight classes, with thirty students in each. He recognized quite a few people, like Ebisu, Shiranui Genma, Anko, Yūhi Kurenai, Sarutobi Asuma, Rin, Might Guy, Obito, and the White Fang's son, Kakashi Hatake, who had graduated early.

Of course, they weren't all in the same class, so he was only really familiar with Might Guy, Obito, and Rin. That was mainly because Might Guy and Obito were both outgoing and easygoing, and Obito always dragged them to Rin's side. If it hadn't been for that, Haori would have had zero friends, seeing as his social skills were on par with Jiraiya's.

"Of course we'll graduate smoothly…as long as the graduation exam doesn't include ninjutsu or genjutsu!" Might Guy's confidence was baffling. Did he mean the exam would be taijutsu-only?

"This guy Haori is really annoying, especially his hair. It always reminds me of that self-righteous jerk!" Obito, for his part, wasn't interested in Haori's concerns.

Dude, you're the one who's self-righteous! This limited edition white hair isn't what I wanted! It's the god's will, okay? The god said let there be light, and there was light. The god said you need to go gray early, so Haori went gray early. He can't exactly spit in the transmigration god's face, can he?

Besides, you think he hasn't tried spitting? Would he tell you that the god's face is like a lotus leaf, impervious to anything? I'd bet he wouldn't reveal that vital piece of information.

The three of them entered the Ninja Academy, but they didn't head to the classroom. Instead, they gathered in the small plaza in front of the school, as the graduation exam was going to be held outdoors.
