The sun had just begun to rise, painting Liyue Harbor in shades of gold and orange. People were already up and about, preparing for the day ahead, and the air was filled with the familiar sounds of merchants setting up their stalls. But there was also a new sound—the excited calls of Pokémon and the voices of trainers eager to explore the wild areas surrounding Liyue. The Pokémon ecosystem was thriving, and it seemed like every day there was something new to discover.
Ganyu was standing by the docks, her Snorunt beside her, both looking at a map spread out across the wooden table. She traced a path with her finger, her expression focused.
"Snorunt, today we're going to explore the Guili Plains," Ganyu said softly, her eyes filled with determination. "I've heard that more Pokémon have started appearing there, and we might find some new friends."
Snorunt let out an excited noise, bouncing up and down. Ganyu smiled, reaching down to pat Snorunt on the head. She was about to fold the map when she heard a familiar voice.
"Ganyu! You're going out to explore, huh? Mind if I tag along?"
Ganyu looked up to see Beidou walking towards her, her Fletchinder perched proudly on her shoulder. Beidou was grinning, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Of course, Beidou," Ganyu replied with a warm smile. "The more, the merrier. We're heading to Guili Plains. I've heard there are some interesting Pokémon there."
Beidou gave a hearty laugh. "Sounds like a plan! Fletchinder and I could use some excitement. It's been too quiet lately."
The two made their way out of Liyue Harbor, Snorunt bouncing alongside Ganyu while Fletchinder flapped its wings to keep up with Beidou's brisk pace. As they walked, they talked about the changes they had seen since Pokémon started appearing in Teyvat.
"It's amazing, isn't it?" Beidou said, her tone filled with awe. "How these Pokémon have become such a big part of our lives in such a short time. And Hiroshi—he's definitely brought something special to our world."
Ganyu nodded. "Yes, it's almost as if Teyvat was meant to have Pokémon all along. They fit so naturally here. I think it's wonderful."
Beidou looked at Fletchinder, a proud smile on her face. "I wouldn't trade Fletchinder for anything. We've become partners, and it's been an amazing journey so far." Fletchinder chirped in agreement, puffing out its chest proudly.
As they approached the Guili Plains, the landscape began to change. The grassy fields were dotted with wildflowers, and the air seemed fresher, almost electric with possibility. Ganyu pulled out her Pokédex, holding it up as she scanned the area.
"Let's see... there are some wild Mareep around here, and... oh, look, a Bellsprout," Ganyu said, her voice filled with excitement as she pointed at the small, plant-like Pokémon swaying gently in the breeze.
Beidou grinned. "Mareep, huh? An Electric-type could come in handy. Let's see if we can find one."
As they ventured further into the plains, they spotted a group of Mareep grazing in the distance. Their wool was fluffy and glowing faintly, and they seemed calm, content in their environment. Beidou's eyes lit up as she spotted them, her competitive spirit kicking in.
"Alright, Fletchinder, let's see if we can get one of those Mareep to join us!" Beidou called out, her voice filled with determination.
Fletchinder took off, soaring towards the Mareep with a loud chirp. Ganyu watched, her Snorunt beside her, bouncing in excitement. Beidou approached one of the Mareep cautiously, her eyes focused.
"Fletchinder, use Ember!" Beidou called out.
Fletchinder opened its beak, releasing a small burst of flame towards the Mareep. The Mareep let out a startled cry before retaliating with Thunder Wave, the electricity crackling through the air. Fletchinder dodged, its wings flapping hard as it avoided the attack.
"Good job, Fletchinder! Now, use Peck!" Beidou commanded.
Fletchinder swooped down, its beak glowing as it struck the Mareep, who staggered back slightly. Beidou took out a Pokéball, throwing it towards the Mareep. The Pokéball hit its target, and Mareep disappeared inside in a flash of red light. The ball wobbled for a moment before clicking shut.
Beidou let out a cheer, pumping her fist in the air. "Yes! We got it!" She picked up the Pokéball, holding it up triumphantly.
Ganyu clapped her hands, her smile soft. "Congratulations, Beidou. Mareep will make a wonderful addition to your team."
Beidou grinned, her eyes shining with excitement. "Thanks, Ganyu. I can't wait to train it and see what it's capable of!"

Liyue Harbor - The Pokémon Center
Later that day, Ganyu and Beidou made their way back to Liyue Harbor, stopping by the Pokémon Center to heal their Pokémon after their exploration. The building was bustling with activity, trainers coming in and out, their Pokémon by their sides. The Pokémon Center had quickly become an integral part of Liyue, a place where trainers could gather, rest, and take care of their partners.
As they entered, Nurse Joy greeted them warmly. "Welcome back! How was your adventure today?"
Beidou placed her Pokéballs on the counter, her grin never fading. "It was amazing! We caught a Mareep, and it was quite the battle. Fletchinder worked hard."
Nurse Joy smiled, taking the Pokéballs and placing them on the healing machine. "I'm glad to hear it. Your Pokémon are in good hands."
Ganyu watched as Snorunt hopped onto the counter, looking up at Nurse Joy with wide eyes. "Snorunt worked hard today too," Ganyu said softly. "We encountered a few wild Bellsprout, and Snorunt did a great job battling them."
Nurse Joy nodded, her expression gentle. "It sounds like you all had a wonderful day. I'll make sure Snorunt gets the care it needs."
As they waited for their Pokémon, Beidou turned to Ganyu, her expression thoughtful. "You know, Ganyu, it's days like today that make me realize how much these Pokémon have changed our lives. They've brought us closer together, made us stronger, and given us new adventures to share."
Ganyu nodded, her eyes softening. "I feel the same way. Pokémon have a way of bringing out the best in us. They remind us of the beauty of nature and the importance of companionship."
Beidou smiled, her eyes filled with warmth. "Couldn't have said it better myself. Here's to more adventures, Ganyu. And to the Pokémon that make them possible."

Later that Evening - Liyue Harbor
As the sun began to set, the sky turning shades of pink and orange, Ganyu and Beidou found themselves back at the docks, watching the boats come and go. The harbor was alive with the sounds of people and Pokémon, and the air was filled with a sense of contentment.
Hu Tao appeared, her Shuppet floating beside her, her eyes filled with excitement. "Hey, you two! I heard you went out exploring today. Find anything interesting?"
Beidou grinned, holding up the Pokéball containing Mareep. "We caught a Mareep! It was quite the battle."
Hu Tao's eyes widened, her smile growing even wider. "A Mareep, huh? That's awesome! Shuppet and I have been thinking about heading out to the wild areas too. We want to see if we can find some new ghost-type friends."
Ganyu chuckled softly. "I'm sure you'll find something interesting, Hu Tao. The Pokémon ecosystem is full of surprises."
Hu Tao nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. "You bet! And maybe next time, we can all go together. A big adventure, just the three of us. What do you say?"
Beidou laughed, her eyes twinkling. "I'm in! The more, the merrier."
Ganyu smiled, her heart filled with warmth. "I'd like that too. Let's make it a plan."
Hu Tao clapped her hands, her smile wide. "It's settled then! Next time, we're all going on an adventure! And who knows, maybe we'll find something legendary!"

Nightfall - The Pokémon Center
Later that night, Ganyu returned to the Pokémon Center to check on Snorunt. The building was quieter now, the bustling activity of the day replaced with a calm stillness. Nurse Joy greeted her with a warm smile, handing her Snorunt's Pokéball.
"Snorunt is all healed and ready to go," Nurse Joy said, her voice gentle.
Ganyu took the Pokéball, releasing Snorunt who immediately jumped into her arms, nuzzling against her. Ganyu smiled, hugging Snorunt close.
"Thank you, Nurse Joy," Ganyu said softly. "For everything."
Nurse Joy nodded, her expression kind. "It's my pleasure. Take care, Ganyu. And remember, the Pokémon Center is always here for you and your Pokémon."
Ganyu left the Pokémon Center, Snorunt in her arms, and made her way back to her home. The night was quiet, the stars twinkling above, and Ganyu felt a sense of peace wash over her. Pokémon had truly become a part of her life, and she knew that this was only the beginning of their journey together.
As she looked down at Snorunt, who had fallen asleep in her arms, Ganyu smiled, her heart filled with warmth. "Here's to more adventures, Snorunt. Together, we'll face whatever comes our way."
