The morning sun bathed Liyue Harbor in a warm golden light, illuminating the cobblestone streets and bustling stalls. Merchants were already busy arranging their goods, calling out their wares to passersby. The aroma of freshly baked bread mingled with the scent of herbs and spices, giving the harbor a familiar, comforting atmosphere.
Hiroshi stood outside his Pokémon Emporium, watching the scene unfold. Zekrom, who had taken up his usual position near the shop's entrance, glanced at Hiroshi. "You seem pensive today, Hiroshi," Zekrom said, his deep voice resonating in Hiroshi's mind.
Hiroshi gave a slight chuckle. "I'm just wondering what kind of adventures today will bring. The people of Liyue are starting to get used to Pokémon, but I still want to make sure they see the true magic behind having a Pokémon partner."
Zekrom nodded. "Change takes time, but you are making progress. Each day brings new possibilities."
Hiroshi took a deep breath, smiling as he watched the harbor come to life. "You're right. Let's make today another good day."
As the first customers began trickling into the shop, Hiroshi was pleasantly surprised to see Beidou, captain of the Crux Fleet, stride through the door with her usual confident gait. Her presence seemed to light up the shop, her smile as wide as ever.
"Morning, Hiroshi! I've been hearing all about these little critters you're selling," Beidou said, her voice a perfect mix of curiosity and amusement. "Figured it was about time I came to see what all the fuss was about."
Hiroshi grinned, nodding. "Good morning, Captain Beidou. I think you're going to enjoy meeting some of the Pokémon we have here. They're all unique, and I think I have just the one for you."
Beidou's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Oh? Something that can keep up with me on the seas? Let's see what you've got."
Hiroshi moved towards one of the shelves, picking up a Pokéball before turning back to Beidou. "This one might be a good fit. Come on out, Fletchinder!"
He pressed the button on the Pokéball, and in a flash of red light, a sleek bird Pokémon with vibrant red and black feathers appeared. Fletchinder spread its wings, letting out a small chirp as it regarded Beidou with curiosity.
Beidou whistled, clearly impressed. "Well, aren't you a beauty?" She approached Fletchinder, her eyes full of admiration. "Look at those wings—I bet you can fly pretty fast, huh?"
Fletchinder nodded, flapping its wings proudly. Beidou laughed, reaching out to gently pat the Pokémon on the head. "I like you already," she said, turning back to Hiroshi. "I'll take Fletchinder. I think it'll fit right in with the crew."
Hiroshi smiled, handing Beidou a Pokedex and some Pokéballs. "Fletchinder is a fire and flying-type Pokémon. It's strong and reliable—perfect for someone who spends a lot of time on the open sea. I think the two of you will make a great team."
Beidou gave a satisfied nod. "I think so too. Come on, Fletchinder, let's go introduce you to the crew."
As Beidou left the shop, Fletchinder perched on her shoulder, Hiroshi felt a sense of satisfaction. He turned to Zekrom, who was watching with a knowing look in his eyes.
"Another successful pairing," Zekrom said. "She seemed quite taken with Fletchinder."
Hiroshi nodded. "Beidou's strong-willed, and Fletchinder's got the same kind of spirit. I think they'll make an incredible team."

Meanwhile, down at the morning market, Hu Tao was once again making her presence known. She skipped between the stalls, her Shuppet floating along beside her, the ghostly Pokémon drawing a mix of curious and wary glances. Hu Tao seemed oblivious to the mixed reactions, her energy as infectious as ever.
"Look, Shuppet! Fresh fish!" Hu Tao exclaimed, pointing at a stall displaying an array of glistening fish. She leaned in closer, grinning at the vendor. "Hey there, how about a discount for the director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and her new ghostly friend?"
The vendor, a middle-aged man who had grown used to Hu Tao's antics, gave her a weary smile. "Hu Tao, you always try to haggle with me. And now you've got a ghost to help? That's hardly fair," he said, his tone half-joking.
Shuppet floated forward, its eyes glowing mischievously, and let out a playful "Booo!"
The vendor jumped, though he couldn't help but chuckle afterward. "Alright, alright, you win! A small discount for the both of you. Just don't let that little one spook my customers too much, okay?"
Hu Tao clapped her hands together, her grin widening. "You got it! Thanks, mister! See, Shuppet? I told you we'd get a good deal!"
As she moved to the next stall, Chongyun appeared, looking slightly exasperated. His Duskull floated alongside him, keeping a close eye on Hu Tao and Shuppet, as if anticipating whatever trouble they might get into next.
"Hu Tao," Chongyun called out, catching up to her, "I've been looking for you. You're not causing too much trouble, are you?"
Hu Tao turned to face him, her smile mischievous. "Trouble? Me? Of course not! Shuppet and I are just making friends with all the market vendors! Right, Shuppet?"
Shuppet nodded enthusiastically, while Duskull seemed to sigh, its glowing eye narrowing slightly.
Chongyun shook his head, though there was no real annoyance in his expression. "Just... try to keep it tame, alright? Not everyone appreciates a ghostly scare first thing in the morning."
Hu Tao pouted playfully. "Oh, Chongyun, you're such a worrywart! We're just spreading a little fun! Besides, look at how happy Shuppet is!"
Chongyun glanced at Shuppet, who was bobbing excitedly in the air, and sighed. "Alright, alright. Just... keep it safe."
Hu Tao laughed, throwing her arm around Chongyun's shoulder. "No need to worry so much, Chongyun! Come on, why don't you join us? I'm sure Duskull would love to help us get some good deals too!"
Duskull looked at Chongyun, its single eye blinking expectantly. Chongyun hesitated for a moment before giving a reluctant nod. "Fine. But no scaring anyone who looks like they can't handle it."
Hu Tao cheered, pulling Chongyun along with her as they moved further into the market. "You got it, exorcist! Let's go, team ghost!"

Elsewhere in the market, Ningguang and Ganyu were also making their rounds. Ganyu held her Snorunt in her arms, the small ice-type Pokémon looking around with wide, curious eyes. Ningguang's Rotom hovered nearby, occasionally sparking with electricity, drawing fascinated looks from those around them.
"It's nice to see the people of Liyue becoming more comfortable with Pokémon," Ningguang said, glancing at Ganyu. "I must admit, I was curious to see how the market vendors would react to their presence."
Ganyu nodded, smiling softly as she patted Snorunt's head. "I think they're starting to understand that Pokémon are here to help and not harm. Snorunt has been very well-behaved, and everyone seems to enjoy meeting it."
Ningguang looked at Rotom, who was currently inspecting a lantern hanging above one of the stalls. "Rotom, on the other hand, has been a bit... mischievous," she said, though there was a hint of amusement in her voice.
Rotom buzzed innocently, drifting away from the lantern and back towards Ningguang. Ganyu giggled. "It seems like Rotom just wants to explore. I think it's curious about the technology here in Liyue."
Ningguang nodded thoughtfully. "Perhaps. It does have an affinity for devices and gadgets. I suppose it's only natural for it to be curious."
As they continued through the market, they came across Yanfei, who was sitting on a bench with Bellsprout beside her. The grass-type Pokémon was holding a scroll in one of its vine-like appendages, handing it to Yanfei as she reviewed it.
"Good morning, Lady Ningguang, Ganyu," Yanfei greeted them, looking up from her work. "I've been putting Bellsprout to work already. It's been incredibly helpful with holding onto documents while I read through them."
Bellsprout gave a happy nod, looking quite proud of itself. Ningguang smiled. "I'm glad to see you're making use of your new partner, Yanfei. Pokémon have a lot to offer—more than just companionship."
Yanfei nodded in agreement. "Exactly. I think Bellsprout and I are going to make a great team. We've already gotten through half of the documents I needed to review today!"
Ganyu looked at Snorunt, who was now reaching out towards Bellsprout, seemingly curious. Bellsprout leaned forward, and the two Pokémon gently touched heads, as if greeting each other.
"It's nice to see them getting along," Ganyu said softly, smiling at the interaction.
Ningguang nodded. "Indeed. Pokémon seem to have a natural affinity for each other. It's fascinating to see how they bond, not just with their trainers, but with each other as well."
As the day went on, the people of Liyue continued to interact with their Pokémon partners, learning more about them and discovering new ways to incorporate them into their daily lives. The market, once filled with only the sounds of merchants and customers, was now alive with the presence of Pokémon—their chirps, cries, and playful antics adding a new layer of liveliness to the bustling harbor.
Hiroshi watched from his shop, a smile on his face as he observed the growing connections between the people of Liyue and their Pokémon. It was exactly what he had hoped for—a gradual, genuine acceptance of these magical creatures into the world of Teyvat. And though there was still much work to be done, Hiroshi knew they were on the right path.
"You see, Zekrom," Hiroshi said, glancing at his Pokémon partner, "little by little, they're starting to understand. Pokémon are becoming a part of their lives."
Zekrom nodded, his gaze following Beidou as she flew by on her boat, Fletchinder soaring alongside her. "Yes, Hiroshi. Each day brings new progress. The people of Liyue are learning to appreciate the wonder and potential of Pokémon. And soon, all of Teyvat will come to see it too."
Hiroshi nodded, determination in his eyes. "We'll keep going. One step at a time."
And with that, Hiroshi turned back to his shop, ready to face whatever new challenges and adventures the day would bring.
