"Just now, I taught you how to control mana for casting magic with high precision, didn't I?" Nel asked, his tone casual but probing. His golden, slit-pupil eyes gleamed mischievously at Ren, who was fiddling with his EMBLEM as if trying to anticipate what Nel had in store for us this time.
"Uh-huh..." Ren nodded.
I raised an eyebrow, matching my tone with his nonchalant attitude. "So…?"
"Think about this," he began, pacing in front of us like a professor about to deliver a lecture. "What if several people are gathered closely together? One of them is your opponent or the target you want to disable with your magic… While the others around them are not your enemies…?"
