"Not free…?" I narrowed my eyes at Nel who leaned at the far wall.
"There's nothing such as free stuff in this world, Princess." Nel flashed a grin. "As a favor for helping you, I want you to help me in return." He pulled a coin from his trousers and flicked the coin playfully between his fingers, a mischievous smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "Well… Consider it a thank-you gift."
Suspicion immediately flared in my chest. I folded my arms. "Help with what?"
Ren echoed my question, stepping closer as he glanced between Nel and me.
Nel chuckled, pushing himself off the wall. "I'll tell you once your spell succeeds."
Great. Just great. Don't tell me he's going to make me take care of Cergy… or worse, some other strange creature lurking in the forest.
