"Opening the training room? Just for you two? Are you kidding me?" Nel's voice carried a mix of exasperation and disbelief, his golden eyes narrowing as he leaned against the wall.
I squared my shoulders. "Isn't it normal to use the room for practicing spells? We're not allowed to use magic recklessly within the academy buildings, right?"
"That's true... But it doesn't mean you can use it for personal use either." Nel leaned back, arms crossed. "Why don't you join a club or extracurricular activity that gives you access to those rooms?"
"Oh, I didn't know something like that existed."
Liui certainly hadn't mentioned anything of the sort. Well… not that she would, given the cold war between us lately. And after what I did to her last night, I bet she'll resent me even more.
"You said 'those rooms'. Does that mean there are a lot of magical halls or training rooms in the academy?" Ren asked enthusiastically.
