"Why are they scared of you?" Caishen asked Jiao Long. "I don't know, but we should be grateful that we are not dead.". "True, let us leave here," Shayuan replied. They began making their way back to the cave where they had previously remained because it was secluded. On their way, they noticed the diverse havoc that the beast had caused; where there were once luscious trees, those trees had fallen down and the leaves had been stomped on.
They were almost there when they came across another group of beasts. "Quickly scare them away," Shayuan told Jiao Long, who was no longer afraid of them.
"Leave them to me," Jiao Long murmured as he approached the monsters, not thinking much of them. The leader of the batch of beasts at realm 2 stared at Jiao Long and wondered whether there was something wrong with the human standing in front of him, as if he was tired of life. The leader roared violently and bared his fang at Jiao Long.
Jiao Long retreated rapidly. "Why isn't it working? Are we going to die here?" Shayuan muttered. "I also don't know, or did they not retreat because of me earlier?" Jiao Long remarked, adding, "I believe we are going to die here."
"Since we are still going to die, let us die fighting. We will not go down easily like that. Let us kill those we can kill," Jiao Long told Caishen and Shayuan. He prepares to utilize the blood seething technique; he had not wanted to use the technique in front of anyone because he knew that people are greedy and often die for their wealth, but now that he is going to die, hiding the technique is pointless. He stood bravely in the front and glared at the monsters with ferocity, his eyes resembling those of the king of beasts.
When the beasts saw the sight in his eyes for some inexplicable reason, they cowered in dread and turned and fled.
"They are really running away because of you," Caishen explained. "Then why are they not afraid when I stood in front of them earlier?" Jiao Long asked, not understanding what was going on. "I looked at your face earlier, and the look on your face was like that of the king of beasts; you were looking at them so ferociously that they became afraid of you, but why you have such a deterrent on them is what I can't figure out.". Caishen said
"I stared at them ferociously because I was feeling like killing all of them at that time, and I was planning on going all out," Jiao Long explained to Caishen. "Who are your parents? Maybe your parents will know what's going on with you.". Shayuan asked. "I do not know who my parents are; Uncle White said he picked me up at the heart of Beast Mountain Forest.".
They decided to end their conversation because they couldn't figure out why the beasts are terrified of Jiao Long. They continued on their journey and eventually arrived at the cave. When they arrive at the cave, they realize that the medicine they have is insufficient to heal even one person's wound, let alone all three of them.
"Shit, this is all Chaoxiang's fault; if we had that fruit with us, we could swiftly cure our wound and recover in a day; now we don't have any medicine left, and we can't go out to look for it because there are different monsters roaming around. We were fortunate that we only encountered realm one and realm two beasts; we have no idea whether Jiao Long Deterrence will operate on beasts above realm two." Caishen exclaimed violently; it was the first time he had said so much.
Jiao Long looked at Caishen's leg and knew that if his leg was not treated within a week, he would have to walk with a limp for the rest of his life, and then he turned to Shayuan and saw him sitting and resting his body on the cave wall, and Jiao Long knew that he could not last more than three days; if he is not treated within three days, he will die as well. "Let me use some of the medicine first to heal my wound a little, then I'll go back out and make sure I will be back within three days with medicine," Jiao Long said to Caishen and Shayuan.

"But if I did not leave, Shayuan can't live past three days; at least if I leave, it's not sure that I will meet any realm three beast, so let me leave; at least like that, there is still hope for us.". Jiao Long responds with impatience.
"If you are going to leave, let me follow you," Caishen remarked, agitated. "You can't; you're wounded in your leg. If you follow me, you'll only drag me down, because if I meet higher-level beasts, at least I can still run and hide, but with your injured leg, we won't be able to run fast since I will have to stay and take care of you and also who will look after Shayuan; he can't even walk on his own. Although this cave is deemed save, we are not so sure that a beast won't find this place, so who will protect him from the beast if we've both left?"Jiao Long remarked to Caishen, attempting to persuade him from trying to leave with him.
"Okay, you can leave, but promise me you'll come back alive. I already regard you as my friend, so I'll be really sad if you die." Caishen replied to Jiao Long, disappointed that there was nothing he could do to help his friend. "OK, I promise," Jiao Long remarked to Caishen, smiling at him.
