The foggy morning started loathsome for Lena as she walked in down the busy streets of Manhattan. The clock ticked as she rushed to the company putting her all into her pace as she continued walking in a lightning fast manner. The sudden notification on her phone halted her on the spot as she read the recent news report about the greatest neuroscientists and engineer, professor Erwin Flint was reported missing ever since today morning at the crack of dawn. Acknowledging the fact that an astonishing leader has disappeared from the world, Lena continued her rush towards the company that was luckily only one crossing away. Taking the last glance at her watch, it dawned to her that she was unfortunately going to be late for the third time this week. In her thoughts she wondered how a man whose every step was calculated could go missing in one night, as she looked at the large company name before her 'Astronomic Corporation'. inside she was met with the hoarse voice of her mentor and senior Mister Grey, the head of the aerospace engineering department, who reprimanded her tardiness. Attempting to ease the mood, Lena made an effort to calm down the old gizzard by blaming her sleepless night and tireless efforts to finish the design that he assigned her, which was not all lies. Mister Grey already in a lecturing mode began his endless rant on the importance of time management and the reason for arriving on time even if an miscalculated deadline was encountered. His lecture only ended as soon as they arrived at his office. He took a seat and asked for the assignment that Lena happily gave proud of her tedious efforts just to get humbled by Mister Grey's respond, "Not bad, but I could do better. At that moment an angry dispute silently happened in Lena's mind where she questioned why he assigned her that work in the first place. After finishing to examine her work, he simply ordered her to take it to the developing team approving her design to be used for the search of Dr. Erwin. She shockingly inquired why the search team would request for help from the company just for the angry man to call her a stubborn kid complaining that he would not even have asked if he was in her position. not wanting to argue with her mentor, she simply asked if he would be taking part just for Mister Grey to say he signed her up to take his place in the search. Her surprised face said it all as she did not expect to be involved in the search of a missing person. Before she could deny the opportunity, Mister Grey began his mundane story of how old he was to do such a tiresome banter and that he had hope that she would do it for the sake of his reputation. he secretly hoped that his mentee took the bait of his sympathy as he aimed for a week of relaxation if he succeeded. Lena immediately accepted it in order to end his dull story not wanting to listen anymore. As soon as she accepted to the request, she was immediately handed a schedule that had all the monotonous work she had to do before being chased away. Leaving the room she wearily walked to the conference hall that was scheduled to take place in the neighboring research center of neuroscience. Finally inside, she saw all the fanatics of neuroscience, medical department, engineering department an law department gathered in one room. this is when she finally realized the impact of the disappearance of Dr. Erwin caused to the legal, medical and engineering sectors. A representative of the medical field stepped up to the front of the room, his aura silencing the room as others recognized the young man as the professor's astounding mentee. He spoke about the phenomenal contributions the professor had done for the society and gave a speech that called upon the masterminds of the science and legal field to find the missing professor. Even those who had not known the scientist had the urge to find him at the end of the speech. The astounding young man, Dr. Noah Bryce, introduced himself at the end by saying that he is the nephew of Dr. Erwin an a medical historian that deals in the medical aviation industry and most importantly the heir of Mister Erwin. Ending his introduction, he informed everyone to look at the back of a sheet in front of them. As everyone followed he announced that the name of the person behind the sheet is the partner they will be assigned to an a location to search, he clarified his hopes to find Dr. Erwin and asked all willing participants to return to this location in three days if no lead was found. With that he ended the meeting and left, looking for his assigned partner. Lena headed towards him saying that she was matched up with him. The two introduced themselves and Noah, talking the lead, guided her to his car ready to start their search.
