Wang Yan then turned to Zhou Yi, saying, "This is Teacher Zhou Yi, who was originally your headteacher. Now that I've been transferred to Class One, she'll be the assistant teacher. We'll be working together to teach you all from now on, so please greet her as well."

Dai Huabin's face twisted with fury. He stood abruptly, pointing at Xiao Yan. "Nonsense! If it weren't for the headmaster's intervention, do you think your strike could overpower my Nether White Tiger?"
Bang! Before Xiao Yan could react, Lan Luoluo slammed her desk and stood up. "Dai Huabin, still bitter over losing? Then let's settle this in the Battle Soul Arena!"
"Xiao Yan, what's wrong? Need a woman to fight for you?" Dai Huabin sneered, his anger simmering as he glanced dismissively at Xiao Yan.
Xiao Yan rose slowly, rolling his shoulders until his joints crackled. "Oh? Are you challenging me?"
"Enough! What do you think you're doing? Sit down, all of you!" Wang Yan's voice boomed, a wave of soul power spreading, silencing everyone. The group exchanged looks before grudgingly returning to their seats.
At that moment, Zhou Yi stepped forward. She adjusted her glasses, her voice cold. "Since there's such a strong objection to Xiao Yan's nomination, why don't we vote? If more than half the class disagrees, we'll remove his name from the board. How about that?"
Upon hearing Zhou Yi's suggestion, spurred by jealousy or perhaps Dai Huabin's influence, more than half of Class One raised their hands against Xiao Yan. Only those from the original Class Seven and a few others, like Wang Dong and Xiao Xiao, abstained.
Wang Yan had not anticipated Zhou Yi's statement, and his face darkened as he turned to her. "Teacher Zhou, are you deliberately undermining me?" he asked, his voice low.
"Oh? And what do you mean by that, Teacher Wang?" Zhou Yi crossed her arms, feigning innocence. "I simply saw that many students objected and proposed a solution to please both sides."
Wang Yan stayed silent, his expression turning grim.
Sensing the tension, the Lan sisters started to stand, wanting to defend Xiao Yan, but he held them back.
Then, Dai Huabin glanced around, noting that more than half the students had raised their hands. He stood up, smirking. "Teacher Wang, more than half the class has raised their hands. Please remove Xiao Yan's name."
Wang Yan felt a pang of helplessness. He glared at Zhou Yi, displeased by her tactics. Just as he was about to respond, Xiao Yan rose calmly from his seat.
