Trying to stay quiet in this school was like trying to reach the ends of the earth tolu thought to herself as she had to introduce herself for like the twentieth time in the cafeteria, after the introduction in class one would have thought that they will all back of but it seems like this school is a deffrent case from her former school.

"....so will you be coming to the birthday party with someone or just yourself".

"Sorry what ?" Tolu asked as the girl with a braided hair who earlier said her name was Jessica or was it jecinta, voice floated into her thoughts.

"I over heard you saying you were coming when Kendra asked you during Mr David class".

"Oh I did?" Well, she probably did accept as she was trying to concentrate in class and the girl was humming in her ear like a bird, she had just nodded her head to what ever she was saying so as to get Kendra off her ear but it seems like what ever she had accepted to do has caused her to accept an unwanted invitation.

Jessica kept looking at her in a funny way bending her head slantly as she slide into the empty sit opposite the cafeteria table and set her tray down.

"Oh yes I did say I was coming". She said with a forced smile and hoped that was enough to get the girl to shut up and eat her food before she decides to shove it down her mouth her self. The thought made her to smile inwardly.

"Well?" Jessica said questionly as she looked at tolu who looked confused. "Are you coming with with someone cause Kendra said the invitation is for two, that is to say you have to bring a date along". Jessica said as she looked behind tolu dreamily.

Oh great another excuse for her not to attend the unwanted birthday part, tolu smiled sweetly and was about to point out to Jessica that she was new in town and that she has no date. Just as she opened her mouth to tell her.

"And since you don't have anyone to go with you there is an exception since you are new in school and by the way, you have to show up or else...." Jessica stopped looking behind tolu and looked her straight in the eye "she is going to make your life in this school miserable, I learnt the had way. You know her parents own halve the share of this school".

So there is really no way out of this tolu thought. Well she could decide not to go but she does not want to be on anyone bad sides as she was aspiring to be the class representative or class captain and she would hate to be anyone enemy especially someone as influencial as Kendra.

"So who are you planning on going with to the party." Tolu asked her absent mindedly as she bit into the fried fish on her plate.

Jessica suddenly looked shat as she stared at her tray and started fidgeting with her wrist watch.

Now this looks interesting to lu though as she sw the expression on Jessica face, cause Jessica doesn't strike her like the shy type. "What is it?" She asked as she looked at Jessica.

"Well that's what I came to talk to you about". She stopped fidgeting with her wrist watch raised her head and stared behind tolu. "You see, I saw you and Sammie getting off from the same car this morning so I was thinking you guys most be close".

"What about it?" Tolu asked without answering the stylishly asked question, she would like to see where all this is heading too.

"Ok am just going to ask you straight up" Jessica said the lowerd her voice. "Are you guys dating cause I haven't seen him talk to any girl or staying in the same car or sit with a girl".

Tolu just laughed. "Of course not, my mom almost ran him over this morning on our way to school, so she just offered to give him a ride as a sign of apology". Tolu said and returned her attention back to to her plate well the food is not bad at all.

"Well the problem is I would like him to go out with me but I can't seem to get him to talk to me". Jessica said with a sad tone.

'i dont see how that has anything to do with me'. was tolu's first thoughts as she just rose an eyebrow at Jessica.

"The only person he talks to in class is his cousin and the teachers. The rest of the time as you may have noticed." She pointed her two index fingers to her ears.

Tolu immediately understood. Samuel was always with his headset and phone except when he is in class that's the only time she had seen him with is headset resting on his neck and the other time was when he took it off to apologize to his mother when she nearly ran him over.

Jessica opeiher mouth to say something then immediately closed it as she looked over tolu shoulders. Tolu turionly to see the headline of there conversation who Jessica was calling Sammie standing behind her. 'this is a surprise'. Tolu thought to her self as she waited to hear what was so important to make him remove his headphones and come over to her table.

As much as he hate being here he has no choice, for segun has decided he has fallen in love with the new student Tolu. And since everyone in school had know he and her came to school in the same car that have all assumed he and Tolu have a history together, and segun had also promised to give him back the possession of the playstation for the two weeks if he introduced him to Tolu which he has no other choice than to comply for all he knew she won't even reply him.

"Uhm Samuel can I help you with something?" Tolu turned to him and said.

Segun kicked him gently so he could remember why they they where there in the first place.

"Hey, Tolu I want you to meet my cousin Segun".

"Nice to meet you". Segun said in a deep voice as he shook hands with her causing Samuel to raise an eyebrow.

"Nice to meet you too". Tolu said in a voice so sweet. Samuel would have bet his precious PlayStation that the angels would have fallen in love with her voice then and there. The girl sitting down next to her just looked surprised.

Turning to segun Samuel said. "I believe my job here is done."

Segun just ignored him. "Can I join you ladies". He said then with nod from tolu he sat down "what's up Jess?". He greeted Jessica and she raised a thumb up to him.

"Come on bro, have a sit". Segun said as Samuel as he turned to leave.

"What for". Samuel asked looking at his questionly.

" Some one PlayStation is on the line". Segun said in a sing song tone and immediately Samuel sat down next to the girl who segun just called Jessica which he was sure he had seen somewhere. He immediately switched on his earphones and opened his favourite game FREE FIRE and let the conversation float round him.

"You guys want to see something really cool?". Segun asked as he looked at Tolu in an admiring way, he could tell she kind of likes him and she was trying very hard not to let it show.

"Well yeah". Tolu said carefully avoiding putting any form of tone in her voice.

"What do you guys want Sammie to do I can get him to do it immediately". Segun said with a mischievous grin.

Tolu just looked at Jessica and she immediately know what to ask for. Then she turned to segun. "Can you get Sammie to go to Kendra's birthday party with me?".

Segun just smiled. " That's a piece of cake". Then he reached across the table and taped Samuel on the arm, Samuel just raised his head with his eyes still glued to his phone screen and raised his eyebrow s questionly.

"Will you go with Jessica to Kendra's birthday party this evening?". Segun asked him.

Samuel just nodded and continue with his game having no idea what he had just agree to do.

Jessica was smiling like some one who just won a lottery. "Thanks segun I really appreciate it."

"No problem" segun said raising his hands up then he turned to Tolu. "So will you be attending Kendra's birthday party".

Tolu was tempted to say no, but she had already made up her mind to go, so it will be embarrassing for him to see her there. "Yeah I will be going." She said in a bleak tone.

"Do you mind going with me as your date or you have someone else." Segun asked without beating around the bush and he could sense that Tolu also have some kind of attraction towards him.

"Wow, wow, wow, that was forward even if we are going together it's not a date". Tolu said blushing.

"Well two people, which is a boy and a girl show up TOGETHER at a party meant for couples is called what, ehn aunty?" Segun asked her smiling.

Tolu just stared at him and then she opened her mouth to speak the bell rang for the next period and she immediately stood up with her bag. "Are you coming Jessica?". She asked Jessica who seemed to be looking at Samuel who was focused with what he was doing on his phone as if his life depends on it.

Tolu frowned as Jessica seemed not to have heard her name. "Jessica!!!" She shouted.

"Oh sorry let's go". Jessica said hurriedly standing up with Samuel still unaware of what's going on around him.

Segun across the table and smacked him on the head removing the headset from his ears. "Oga if you like sit down there and be playing game, it's time for next period".

"Wassup bro". Aren't you getting ready, the party is starting by six o, and you know your mom said we should be back by 10 pm". Segun said as he strolled into Samuel room.

"What party?" Samuel asked raising up from the couch and headed to the mirror to check his eyes.

"Oga am talking about Kendra's birthday party". Segun replied expecting it.

" I don't remember agreeing to go to her party when she asked me."

"Tell that to Jessica." Segun said smiling as he sat down on the couch Samuel just vacated.

"Guy I don't understand". Samuel said stoping the inspection of his eyes to look at segun. "Explain".

"You technically said you were going to the party with her when she asked you."

"When was that?" Samuel asked frowning .

"When we were with Tolu and Jessica in the cafeteria, you nodded when she asked you."

"You know I nod to anything when am with my headset and I don't remember even nodding to any question at the cafeteria."

"Any ways dress the way you like as long as you are going no problem." Segun said knowing if he told him to wear something Samuel will turn it into a fight.

"I never said I was going o, segun!!!!" Samuel shouted at him as he turned to leave. "I won't even stay there up to an hour.

The man opened the door to the basement and immediately the room was illuminated in red lights and a black mask with white and red stripes running up to the two horns, and it was resting on a throne made of skulls with relics of different daities we're scattered around at the feet of the throne.

"Master !" The man said as he knelt before the throne immediately the holes in the eyes of the skull mask was on fire and slowly the shape of a woman started forming from the mask down ward in a black smoke.

"Yes my humble servant." A female voice came from the smoky figure of a woman seated on the throne wearing the mask. "Tell me you have finally found a body for me to be reincarnated into"

"Patience my queen". The man said and smiled after tonight you shall be free as the days when you ruled the world. Infact as I am speaking I have sent my boys out to bring the young girl who carries the seal of the Gods dynasty in her. And am sure the already have her in there custody as we speak".

"With the bearer of the seal of the Gods dynasty I will be unstoppable and I could finish the battle the reincarnation of songu started to over throw me." The smokey figure said then chuckled.

"Yes my queen, soon you will soon have the powers of the gods at your disposal." The man smiled. "And one more thing my queen, I found out songu was unable to reincarnet since his last reincarnation was unable to bear a son and he died sixteen years ago."

The figure eerie laughter filled the room as it vanished and the masked fall back to the throne.
