Chapter 1 - INTRODUCTION

Absolution, atonement, expiation, conversion, rescue, deliverance, remission, rebirth, propitiation, freedom. All these are other ways of saying Salvation.

Humanity is full of inhumanity, man is so unkind to mankind, people are purposeless, our generation is degenerating, and nobody really feels concern.

Everyone is struggling to gain wealth and fame at any cost it would take.

The rich almost always feel they don't have need of anything else in life, especially when they see that they are healthy as well.

They are not in the prison, in fact, they have the resources and connections to imprison people, and every good thing of life is at their disposal. So, they are convinced that they're fine and fulfilled!

But what is freedom by the way? Being able to live your life however you want, or travel wherever and whenever you decide, or eat whatever you like, or overcome whoever stands on your way?

Well, freedom is way more than those!

How about being free from yourself: your inbuilt nature and character and thoughts and pride? Have you been able to fight yourself and overcome you? Nah... right?

You are still being controlled by yourself and your will and your way. Can't you then see you are in bondage to yourself? You aren't free!

There's no real freedom without sacrifice, and there's no sacrifice without blood, and there's no blood without someone shedding it, and there's no human pure enough to shed their blood for anyone, not even for themselves. What then does this mean? To obtain freedom, it takes the intervention of a supernatural being.

Let's have a look at Hebrews 9:22, "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission."
