Magnolia Town, Fairy Tail Guild Basement
The air in the Fairy Tail guild was thick with tension. Su Yan had been taken away by the Magic Council, and although the Master assured everyone that he would be fine, anxiety lingered like a shadow. Not long after, the council had also taken Makarov, leaving the guild vulnerable.
The usual lively chatter and chaos were gone, replaced by silence and unease.
"Boom!"
Natsu slammed the table, his frustration boiling over.
"I can't take it anymore! I'm going to the Magic Council to bring back Su Yan and the old man!"
"Calm down, Natsu!" Gray snapped. "It's the Magic Council! You can't just barge in there like it's a pub fight!"
"What's so special about the Magic Council? They've always hated us anyway. I say we take the fight to them!"
"Yeah! Let's show them what Fairy Tail is made of!"
Cana stepped in, her calm voice cutting through the noise. "Cool it, both of you. Now's not the time to lose our heads. We're not just dealing with the council—we've got the Phantom Lord to worry about too."
Elfman growled, "Those ghosts are just a bunch of cowards. They only know how to attack from the shadows. They wouldn't dare face us head-on."
As if on cue, a deafening BOOM shook the entire basement. Dust and debris rained down, and the walls trembled violently.
"What was that?!"
Alzack came running down the stairs, his face pale. "Everyone, come outside! You've got to see this!"
Outside the Guild
The Fairy Tail members rushed out, their expressions quickly shifting to shock and disbelief.
In the distance, a colossal structure resembling a fortress was striding toward them, supported by six massive mechanical legs. The Phantom Lord Guild Headquarters loomed menacingly, its sheer size casting a shadow over the town.
"What the hell is that?!"
"A walking guild?! Is that... the Phantom Lord?!"
As it marched closer, its heavy footsteps shook the earth, sending ripples through the water and forcing Magnolia's residents to flee in panic.
"They're actually bringing their whole guild here?! Are they insane?!"
"Looks like they're gearing up for an all-out war!"
"And the Master and Su Yan aren't here!" Cana muttered, her voice tinged with worry. "This couldn't have come at a worse time."
Phantom Lord Guild Headquarters
High atop the moving fortress, Jose Porla, the Phantom Lord's president, stood with a cruel smirk.
"Makarov isn't here. Just as planned," he mused, his eyes glinting with malice. "The Magic Council's interference buys us time, and now Fairy Tail is defenseless."
His thoughts turned dark, fueled by the humiliation Makarov had inflicted on him years ago. "I'll make you watch, Makarov. Watch as your precious guild is wiped off the map."
"Prepare the Magic Cluster Cannon: Jupiter," Jose ordered coldly.
The front wall of the fortress opened, revealing a massive black cannon. Its ominous barrel glowed as it began charging, emitting waves of terrifying magical energy.
Down below, the Fairy Tail guild members froze in horror.
"A Magic Cluster Cannon?! That thing could destroy the entire guild!"
"They're serious! They're trying to kill us all!"
Mira, her expression grim, shouted, "Everyone, scatter! Get away from the guild now!"
Natsu, however, stood his ground, fire blazing around him. "I'm not running! If we run, they'll destroy the guild! We can't let that happen!"
On the Phantom Lord Fortress
Jose sneered as he watched the scene below. "So desperate. Let them struggle. Fire!"
The cannon unleashed a massive beam of magical energy, its blinding light tearing through the air as it hurtled toward the Fairy Tail guild.
At the Guild
The beam raced closer, and panic rippled through the crowd.
"We're done for!"
"There's no way to stop that!"
Suddenly, a calm voice cut through the chaos.
"Hmph."
A figure appeared in front of the guild, standing tall and unyielding against the incoming magic.
"BOOM!"
The beam collided with the figure, resulting in an earth-shaking explosion that sent dust and debris flying. The shockwave was immense, shaking buildings across the town and leaving the guild members shielding their eyes.
When the dust finally settled, everyone's gaze snapped to the figure standing in the center of the blast.
"Wh-what just happened?"
"Did someone stop the attack?!"
As the smoke cleared, a familiar silhouette emerged—tall, confident, and untouched.
Su Yan stood at the center of the devastation, his white shirt spotless, his black trousers unwrinkled, and his long black hair tied neatly behind him. His calm, composed demeanor was enough to silence the chaos around him.
"Su Yan!"
The guild erupted in cheers, their fear melting into hope.
"Su Yan's back!"
"He stopped Jupiter! He actually stopped it!"
Su Yan's sharp eyes scanned the Phantom Lord fortress before he spoke, his voice steady and cold.
"So, you thought you could destroy Fairy Tail while I was gone? Big mistake."
