Magic Council ERA
"Defendant Su Yan," began one of the Magic Council judges, his voice stern and echoing through the Judgment Hall. "The Phantom Lord Guild has accused you of the following:
Assaulting members of the Phantom Lord Guild, resulting in multiple injuries. Destroying the Phantom Lord Guild building and rendering the guild non-operational. Intentionally provoking a war between guilds, thereby violating the treaty prohibiting inter-guild conflict. Resisting arrest, destroying forbidden magic handcuffs, and attacking members of the Ancient Knights, causing several to lose consciousness."
The judge leaned forward, his gaze piercing. "How do you plead?"
Su Yan stood calmly on the defendant's platform. With a slight nod, he said, "Though I'd call it justified, I won't deny it. I injured members of the Phantom Lord, destroyed their guild, and resisted your so-called arrest. But let's be honest—if I truly wanted to resist, none of you could have caught me."
"Arrogant!!" one of the critics exclaimed. "A mere wizard defying the laws of the Magic Council so blatantly! The evidence is indisputable! You cannot refute these charges!"
Another critic stood and declared, "Speaker, I propose severe punishment for this lawless fanatic. Furthermore, I recommend stripping the Fairy Tail Guild of its legal status and ordering its immediate disbandment!"
"Yes! Fairy Tail must be punished! Only then can we preserve the authority of the Magic Council!"
Several Magic Council members chimed in, their voices harsh and unanimous in their calls for punishment.
Yakima, one of the more level-headed critics, interjected, "While regulations may have been violated, there were no casualties. The punishment should fit the crime. Furthermore, the Phantom Lord attacked Fairy Tail first, which prompted Su Yan's actions in retaliation."
Michelo, the third seat, scoffed. "Yakima, we know you're close to Makarov, but Fairy Tail's history of reckless behavior can't be ignored. And where's the proof of this so-called attack? Meanwhile, Su Yan's destruction of the Phantom Lord Guild was witnessed by many."
Og, the second seat, added, "Even if Phantom Lord did attack, Su Yan's actions were in violation of the treaty prohibiting private retaliation. He acted outside the law."
Yakima tried again, "But—"
"Enough," Og interrupted. "Michelo is correct. This cannot be overlooked. I propose the immediate disbandment of Fairy Tail and punishment for their leadership."
"I agree!"
"Seconded!"
"Thirded!"
The votes quickly piled up.
The speaker slammed his gavel and announced, "The judgment is as follows:
Su Yan, for maliciously attacking the Phantom Lord Guild, injuring its members, destroying its property, resisting arrest, and assaulting law enforcement, is sentenced to eight years in prison. Makarov, as guild master of Fairy Tail, for negligence and ineffective guild management, is sentenced to one year in prison. The Fairy Tail Guild is to be immediately disbanded and its license revoked."
Suddenly, a soft chuckle echoed through the chamber.
"Pfft~!"
"Su Yan!" one of the critics snapped. "What's so funny?!"
Su Yan grinned. "Oh, nothing. I just remembered something amusing."
Michelo, another critic, slammed his fist on the table. "Your blatant contempt for the Magic Council adds yet another crime to your list!"
"Add as many as you want," Su Yan replied nonchalantly, his grin widening. "Sentence me however you like. I'm tired of playing along with this farce."
"What are you implying?!"
Su Yan raised an eyebrow. "What I'm implying? I've decided to start with this place. How about I destroy the Magic Council first?"
"You... what?!"
The chamber erupted into chaos as the critics and council members shouted for reinforcements.
"Guards! Arrest him immediately!"
The Ancient Knights in the courtroom drew their weapons and rushed at Su Yan.
"Roll."
Su Yan's single word reverberated like thunder.
"Boom----!!"
A wave of Conqueror's Haki exploded from Su Yan, shaking the Judgment Hall to its core. Cracks spread across the walls, and the floor trembled violently.
"Ahhhh!"
"Ugh!"
One by one, the knights were thrown back, crashing into walls and collapsing unconscious.
Only Yakima remained standing, staring at Su Yan with a mixture of astonishment and resignation.
"Pathetic," Su Yan muttered, looking around at the carnage. "Is this really the strength of the Magic Council? No wonder this organization is so ineffective."
Michelo scrambled to his feet, his face pale and trembling. "H-Help! Someone, help!!"
Su Yan laughed coldly. "Help? There's no one here who can save you."
He stepped forward, his presence alone sending shockwaves of fear through the remaining council members.
