Bai Suzhen, trapped under Leifeng Pagoda, struggles to maintain her magical powers. Fahai, confident in his victory, visits her frequently, taunting and trying to break her spirit.
Xu Xian, filled with remorse and determination, searches for a way to rescue Bai Suzhen. He consults with fellow Taoist priests and seeks out ancient texts, hoping to find a weakness in Fahai's magic.
Meanwhile, Bai Suzhen's loyal servant, Xiaoqing, disguises herself as a male monk and infiltrates Fahai's temple. She steals valuable information about Fahai's plans and reports back to Xu Xian.
As Xu Xian studies the stolen texts, he discovers Fahai's true intentions: to harness Bai Suzhen's powers for himself. Xu Xian realizes he must act quickly to save his wife.
Bai Suzhen, sensing Xu Xian's efforts, finds renewed hope. She begins to meditate, focusing her remaining energy on breaking free.
