Natasha bit her lips, holding back her tears. "I missed you too," she whispered, then she turned to face him, forcing a smile to hide the crushing ache in her heart.
Her arm wrapped around him and she hugged him tightly, her head resting on his chest. Drogen could instantly feel that something was wrong. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her back.
He squeezed gently, comforting her, "did something happen?" He asked quietly, Natasha sniffed, then she pulled back to look up at him, "nothing, onion got in my eye, that's all," she lied.
Drogen didn't have to ask twice to know she wasn't telling him everything, but he didn't persist. "I'll take it from here, just relax," he said, his hands reaching to remove the apron from around her neck.
