Natasha's breath hitched and she turned abruptly to look at him, "what did you say?" She asked in disbelief, thinking she heard him wrong.
"Will you marry me? Natasha?" He repeated, she stared at him, looking dumbstruck, Drogen's heart raced as he waited for her reply, but he suddenly became afraid of rejection. Talk about him of all people being afraid of rejection, it was something he would have never believed if someone else had told him this a few months back.
Just as she tried to say something, he quickly placed his hand over her mouth, preventing her from speaking.
"You don't have to give me a reply, you can take your time to think about it." He quickly said, then pulled her closer into his embrace and closed his eyes, pretending to sleep.
Natasha tried to say something again. "Shh, just sleep, you need to rest." He said quietly, interrupting her. Natasha didn't try to say anything and just closed her eyes.
