Chapter 94 - Brother's best friend

Chapter 94

Natasha pouted, her breath brushing against his neck, her arms still wrapped around his from behind. "I thought you were ignoring me," she said, her voice laced with playful annoyance. Drogen shuddered slightly, his control slipping.

"You're testing my patience, woman. Let go before I completely lose it," Drogen groaned softly, his voice low and laced with possessiveness. He had barely let her go this morning, and here she was, reawakening the monster he tried so hard to calm down.

Just before she could reply, a knock interrupted them again, Natasha rushed to her desk, arranging her hair and acting like nothing just happened. Drogen still felt hot, the spot were she kissed him still had a tingling sensation, there was definitely a Hickey on that spot, one that he was willing to proudly wear.

He couldn't stop the smirk that tugged his lips as he cleared his throat and adjusted on his seat. "Come in" he permitted.

The door opened slowly and the loud mouth girl from the elevator earlier walked in, her steps hesitant.

"Miss Thorpe, the same person from yesterday came looking for you, he insisted on seeing you today." The girl said, her voice low, she caught Drogen's glare and quickly looked away, why did he look like he was about to devour her, she didn't say anything wrong.

Natasha felt curious, wanting to know who was this mysterious celebrity guy that this girl kept talking about.

"Mr Lee, if you'll excuse me, I'll be quick" she said, her voice stern and formal, she seemed completely different from the woman who was teasing him just moments ago. Drogen waved her off, giving her the permission to leave and resuming his work on the file, acting nonchalant.

Once Natasha and the girl had left the office, he dropped the file abruptly, brushing his fingers through his hair and exhaling deeply. She left him horny and was now off to see another man, he was so going to punish her today, he was already getting so damn addicted to her.

He waited a few minutes to calm down, then headed out of the office to go find her. And who the hell was this dude, who cares if he was some fucking celebrity.

Several employees greeted him as he passed by them, his eyes scanned the hall way, searching for Natasha, but she was nowhere to be seen.

He was starting to get anxious, and he didn't even know the reason why. Was this something humans called jealousy? Was he actually jealous that she was meeting another man. It wasn't that serious, it just a meeting, nothing is going to happen between them. He kept reassuring himself as he searched for her.

He looked around for several minutes but couldn't find her anywhere, so he decided to call her. After a few rings, she finally picked.

"You left?" He asked, his voice slightly hesitant, being in a relationship with someone you.....loved could be really brain wracking.

"I'm at the café across from the company. I'll be back soon," she said hurriedly before cutting the call. Drogen frowned, his brows knitting together. "That's it?" he muttered under his breath. Without a second thought, he left the building, heading straight for the café she mentioned.

As soon as he walked inside, his eyes immediately spoted them sitting at a corner, they were talking and laughing, like long time friends. And the guy, the so called celebrity, he was one hell of a good looking dude. Drogen forced a smile as he walked up to them, they were both so immersed in their discussion to even acknowledge his presence, buy Natasha was able to instantly tell from his scent.

She turned to him, smiling brightly. She wasn't expecting him to come.

"You came....meet Davis, my brother's best friend, also my childhood friend" she said, pointing to the celebrity guy. Drogen smiled reluctantly, then he stretched his hand for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you, Davis!" Drogen said, gritting his teeth, Natasha was so oblivious of the whole situation, she couldn't even tell that their eyes were already fighting a thousand battles even before they shook hands.

Davis accepted Drogens hand shake, and that was when the real Battle began. Drogen pressed his hands firmly, making sure not to use much force that'll crush his bones, Davis winced slightly, and then retaliated with equal force, the tension was thick, and Natasha just started, wondering why a simple hand shake was taking so long.

"Nice to meet you too....Mr...?" Davis trailed off, his voice slightly strained, it was clear that he was losing in the little hand shake battle.

"It's Lee.... Dante Lee" Drogen replied, finally letting go of his hand. Davis heaved, making sure not to make it obvious. He clenched his fist to relieve the ache, then turned to Natasha, his genuine smile returning.

"He is...?"

"He's my boss..." Natasha began, but before she could say more, Drogen cut her off.

"I'm her boyfriend," he declared firmly, wrapping an arm around Natasha's shoulder and pulling her possessively into his embrace.

Natasha's cheeks turned bright red, her heart racing with excitement as she glanced up at Drogen, her emotions a confusing mix of surprise and excitement. Meanwhile, Davis stood frozen, his eyes wide with disbelief, did he just say boyfriend? And she wasn't saying anything to refute his claim.

"Is something wrong?" Drogen asked Davis, his lips twisting into a mocking grin.

"No but, I'll like to have some private time with Natasha, hope you don't mind?" Davis asked, regaining his confidence. Who said he didn't still have a chance, he has had a crush on her for the longest time, even before this random guy came into her life, during the time she lost her family in a car accident and her mother was struggling to put things together, he was there as her biggest supporter, he should definitely have a special place in her heart right? He had finally made a name for himself and returned, just to confess his feelings.

"I do mind." Drogen replied, raising a brow as he pulled a chair to sit. Natasha looked at him, almost chuckling. Why did he seem so grumpy today, did he eat something wrong?

"Drogen, it's fine....you can go first, I'll quickly round up and come back to the office" she said calmly, her voice coaxing. And it actually worked, because Drogen stood up to leave, not because he wanted to, but because he couldn't just seem to oppose her request even if he wanted to. It was like she just used a spell on him.

Once Drogen was out of site, Davis suddenly grabbed Natasha by the wrist, his eyes desperate. "Do you love him?"

Natasha winced at the firm grip he had on her hand and frowned, puzzled by his sudden change in behavior.
