Flashback
From behind, she heard his voice calling out to her, the same person who just killed her mother was calling her name, the one person she had once trusted but betrayed her.
She froze, her heart pounding with rage and grief. Why was he calling her like nothing had happened? How dare he? The dagger in her hand trembled as she turned.Blinded by rage, she didn't have the time to wonder why he was coming from outside instead of inside the palace or why his clothes were different.
"Lilith, are you hurt" Drogen asked as he held her, checking her for any wounds. Her face and body was stained with dirt and it was obvious she's been through a lot.
Lilith looked at him with spite, her eyes burning with rage, tears trickling down. It was then Drogen realized there was something wrong.
