Chapter 63
Natasha blinked up at the woman standing in front of her. Her frown deepened as she tried to make sense of the stranger's familiar energy.
"Who are you?" she asked, crossing her arms.
The woman smiled mysteriously and leaned closer, her breath tickling Natasha's ear. "It's me... Gracie."
Natasha's jaw dropped. She turned, gaping at her friend. "What the— Gracie? Is it really you?" she whispered back, utterly dumbfounded.
"Why are we whispering?" Gracie asked, her own voice dropping to match Natasha's.
They both stared at each other for a moment before bursting into laughter. Natasha threw her arms around Gracie, squeezing her tight.
"It's been too long!" Natasha exclaimed, pulling back to inspect her friend. "Wait a second—whose body is this?" She stepped back, spinning Gracie around. "She's gorgeous!"
