"What do you mean you'll summon Drogen? How is that even possible?" Kogen's voice wavered slightly, betraying a hint of unease beneath his deadly gaze.
Natasha's lips curled into a mocking smile, though her heart raced. She needed to appear confident, unshaken, even if her nerves felt like frayed wires. "In fact, I don't think I even need to call him. He's probably already felt it by now."
Kogen's smirk faltered for a second. "Felt what? Do you think I'm going to fall for some childish bluff? I'm done playing games with you." His voice was sharp as he reached out to grab her.
"We made a blood pact!" Natasha shouted, her voice slicing through the tension like a blade.
