Chapter 83: Konoha's Survivors Gather in Otogakure!
After dealing with some minor annoyances, Uchiha Yi turned his gaze toward the Box of Ultimate Bliss.
The entire box was embedded in a stone wall, its grotesque human face exposed.
With the box acting as a barrier, the souls sealed within it couldn't be collected by the system.
This meant only one thing—it had to be destroyed.
The material of the box was unclear, but as a tool once belonging to the Sage of Six Paths, it certainly possessed exceptional qualities.
It would also serve as a convenient test of Uchiha Yi's current strength and how far he was from reaching the level of the Sage of Six Paths.
"Let's start with this," he murmured.
Heat Vision!
His first attack was a pair of deadly beams from his eyes.
The two scorching rays struck the surface of the Box of Ultimate Bliss, heating it up until fragments of its stony exterior began to crumble away.
The grotesque human face on the box's surface twisted as though alive, writhing in agony.
Suddenly, the box's mouth opened wide, and it began to inhale deeply, creating a vortex that tried to absorb everything in its surroundings.
"It seems Heat Vision alone isn't enough," Uchiha Yi muttered. "Let's add this to the mix."
Void Swallowing Flame!
Seeing that his initial attack wasn't enough to destroy the box, he decided to unleash his most potent ability.
Now at its peak after reaching Level 10, the Void Swallowing Flame was capable of temperatures exceeding ten thousand degrees and could devour anything in its path.
Invisible, untouchable, and all-consuming, it was a flame of absolute destruction.
The moment it engulfed the Box of Ultimate Bliss, the grotesque human face contorted further, its screams blending with countless other voices—sorrowful wails and agonized cries that echoed across the entire Ghost Prison.
The souls of criminals imprisoned in this desolate fortress heard the unsettling cries and began to stir.
Many turned their gazes toward the source of the disturbance, thoughts of escape flashing through their minds.
Most of them were hardened criminals—murderers and thieves locked away for their heinous deeds.
Now, with such chaos outside, they saw a glimmer of hope for freedom.
"Where's Mui?" one of the wardens asked, alarmed by the situation.
"I don't know," another replied. "I'll send someone to look for him."
Meanwhile, the Box of Ultimate Bliss began to glow red-hot under the assault of the Void Swallowing Flame.
Within three seconds, the same box that had once terrorized the ninja world had melted into a puddle of molten metal.
A legendary tool that had nearly brought the shinobi world to its knees was now nothing more than a smoldering pool.
Satisfied, Uchiha Yi glanced at the system interface.
The soul count skyrocketed from just over twenty thousand to a staggering fifty thousand!
This confirmed that the Box of Ultimate Bliss had indeed consumed countless souls over the centuries.
---
With Kirigakure devastated by Obito and Konoha obliterated by himself, Uchiha Yi's actions had left the shinobi world in chaos.
Two of the Five Great Nations' villages had fallen in mere months, leaving the remaining villages on edge.
Without knowing the identity of the mysterious attacker, they would be too fearful to initiate war for the foreseeable future.
But without war, there would be no deaths.
Without deaths, there would be no new souls to collect.
Without new souls, Uchiha Yi's power couldn't grow quickly.
The collection of tailed beasts remained critical—without them, there could be no Fourth Shinobi War.
However, with the Three-Tails' host recently killed, his plans had to be put on hold.
For now, patience was his only option.
Having accomplished his goal here, Uchiha Yi stepped into the flames and disappeared without a trace.
As for the chaos erupting in Ghost Prison, it held no interest for him.

Otogakure.
The remnants of Konoha, numbering roughly ten thousand, had gathered in this small village under Orochimaru's protection.
Black Zetsu had already informed Uchiha Yi of their location, but since Orochimaru hadn't taken the Four Noble Clans, Uchiha Yi saw no need to pursue them.
At this moment, the legendary Sannin—Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade—sat together for the first time in years.
Orochimaru seemed indifferent, while Jiraiya and Tsunade looked utterly defeated, their faces pale and lifeless.
They sat in silence, their once-vibrant spirits crushed by Konoha's destruction.
"Orochimaru," Jiraiya broke the silence, "you know how to bring people back from the dead. Can you resurrect Sensei? I need to know who destroyed Konoha!"
His voice trembled with hatred and despair, a far cry from the idealistic man who once stood for justice and peace.
"Bang!"
Tsunade slammed her fist into the table, her monstrous strength shattering it instantly.
"You idiot!" she yelled. "Do you want to get yourself killed? Even Grandpa and Second Grandpa weren't a match for that monster!"
Tsunade's chest heaved with anger and sorrow.
No matter how much Sarutobi Hiruzen had tarnished Konoha, it was still her home—the place her loved ones had died to protect.
Now, it was gone, and her world was plunged into darkness.
"Tsunade's right," Orochimaru added coldly. "As much as it pains me to say this, you know exactly what kind of man Sensei was."
He continued, his voice devoid of emotion:
"If it were just one or two people, it might've been forgivable. But he orchestrated the massacre of the entire Uchiha Clan—men, women, and children alike.
"You think that kind of hatred can be resolved so easily? Don't be naive, Jiraiya.
"Besides, Sensei's final plan failed. For reasons unknown, he couldn't be revived with Edo Tensei."
Orochimaru's words hit Jiraiya like a bucket of cold water, forcing him to confront the grim reality.
For now, Jiraiya fell silent.
"But I do know a bit about this mysterious Uchiha," Orochimaru added, shifting the conversation.
"He calls himself Ah Huo.
"He joined the Akatsuki alongside Uchiha Itachi, a group that recruits rogue ninjas from various nations.
"Their leader is said to possess the legendary Rinnegan—the eyes of the Sage of Six Paths himself.
"It seems they're planning something big, though I couldn't uncover the details before I had to leave."
With that, Orochimaru shared everything he knew about Uchiha Yi with his companions.
