Chapter 1 - [Prologue]

In a universe where the power of evolution defined one's strength, Zorax was born into a Galactic civilization, the third strongest type of civilization. Born with a strong sense of pride that resonated among his kind, they were feared by all.

However, Zorax's path was not one of honor. From a young age, he embraced a life of crime, earning a reputation as a cunning and ruthless individual. Over the centuries, he rose through the ranks, becoming a SR rank with a diverse crew of various species serving under him. Due to his notorious reputation, many species feared him.

Zorax's journey to power was filled with darkness and deceit. As a cunning and ruthless figure in the criminal underworld, he built a vast empire through nefarious means. His fleet of menacing attack ships struck fear into the hearts of all who crossed their path, their firepower unmatched and their tactics merciless.

But it was not solely through brute force that Zorax gained recognition. He had a keen eye for business and saw opportunity where others saw only chaos. His operations extended beyond mere piracy, delving into the lucrative trades of slavery and weapons.

As Zorax's influence spread across the galaxy, his reputation as a wanted criminal grew. Wanted posters featuring his intimidating appearance were posted throughout spaceports and trading hubs, demonstrating the fear and respect he commanded.

Inside the dimly lit chamber of his base on an uninhabited planet, Zorax, the SR-rank alien with a notorious reputation, sat surrounded by his high-ranking crew members. Their admiration for him was evident; their voices were filled with respect and awe.

"Captain Zorax, thanks to your damn good leadership, we've pulled off way more than we ever imagined," one crew member praised, nodding in agreement with his peers.

"Hahaha, with my guidance, we will ascend to greatness. I will become the strongest, and we'll dominate the entire galaxy together!" Zorax's eyes gleamed with pride as he responded.

The crew erupted in cheers, their loyalty to Zorax unwavering. Just as the celebration reached its peak, the door burst open, revealing a crew member who looked frantic and scared.

"Captain, we have an emergency!" he blurted out, interrupting the meeting.

The vice captain grabbed him by the collar, scolding him for his rudeness.

"What's so important that you'd interrupt an important meeting?" he demanded.

Zorax laughed, waving off the vice captain's concerns.

"Calm down. What's the emergency?" He said calmly.

Before the crew member could answer, the sound of an explosion echoed outside, shaking the walls of the base. Zorax rushed outside, his crew following closely behind.

What awaited them was a scene of utter chaos. His base and multiple ships were being destroyed by an unknown enemy, their advanced weapons proving to be no match for the invader.

Sensing the dire situation, Zorax's eyes narrowed as he spotted the source of the onslaught - a figure clad in a sleek and formidable armor, its metallic surface gleaming under the harsh glare of battle.

As the chaos unfolded, Zorax's crew members, each a formidable warrior in their own right, engaged the enemy with fierce determination. Yet the enemy's tactics were swift and calculated, their weapons raining devastation upon Zorax's allies with alarming precision.

One by one, the high-ranking members of Zorax's crew fell; their valiant efforts no match for the overwhelming power of the enemy. With each defeat, Zorax's heart sank deeper into despair, witnessing the demise of those who had stood by his side through countless battles.

With his crew decimated and his base in ruins, Zorax knew he was the only one left standing between the enemy and utter annihilation. Gripping his sword tightly, he faced the lone enemy, determination burning in his eyes.

"You Bastard!" Zorax shouted, his voice filled with rage and frustration.

With a fluidity born of years of training, Zorax unleashed a flurry of strikes, each one infused with the raw power of his species. His sword danced through the air, leaving trails of energy in its wake as he sought to kill the enemy before him.

But the enemy, clad in their formidable armor, seemed to anticipate every move, effortlessly dodging Zorax's attacks with inhuman agility. With a precision that bordered on supernatural, they countered each of Zorax's strikes with devastating force, their blows threatening to overwhelm him at every turn.

As the battle raged on, Zorax pushed himself to his limits, drawing upon every ounce of strength and skill he possessed. With a final, desperate gambit, he unleashed his most powerful technique: a sword skill capable of splitting a weak planet in two.

Yet even this formidable attack was met with ease by the enemy, who deftly sidestepped the strike and delivered a crushing blow that sent Zorax hurtling through the air. Thrown against the wall, Zorax struggled to catch his breath, his body battered and broken. With haggard breath, he looked up at the enemy.

"W-who are you?"

With a voice devoid of emotion, the formidable enemy replied,

"I am a human."
