Chapter 41 - Chapter 40 - "You Can't Sense Me"

Naruto lifted his right hand, and the air around him began to distort in a way wholly different from the boss monster's previous attacks. It wasn't heat or raw power that caused this distortion – rather, reality itself seemed to bend and warp around him. The suspended crystalline projectiles and energy beams that had been frozen in the air began to disintegrate, breaking down into particles of pure mana.

"Aetheric Surge."

The words left his lips softly, almost gentle, but their effect was anything but. The distortion around his hand expanded outward in a wave of pure psycho-kinetic force. Unlike regular magical energy, this power operated on a fundamentally different level. The very space it passed through seemed to ripple and twist, the air taking on an iridescent quality as if reality itself was being rewritten.

The boss monster, sensing the unprecedented nature of this power, attempted one final desperate transformation. Its crimson energy flared brighter, its armor plates began shifting into an even denser configuration, and its size started to increase further. But before the transformation could complete, the psycho-kinetic wave reached it.

The effect was immediate and devastating. The creature's bio-organic armor, which had withstood every known form of magical and physical attack, began to crumple inward as if being crushed by an invisible force. The crimson energy coursing through its body started to flicker and distort, trying to resist the overwhelming mental force but failing. Cracks appeared across its armored surface, not from physical impact but from pure psychic pressure.

A sound unlike anything before – part roar, part screech, and part mental anguish – echoed through the chamber as the monster's body continued to compress. The crystalline spikes adorning its form shattered one by one, each breaking down into mana particles that were immediately dispersed by the continuing wave of psycho-kinetic energy. The very structure of the boss monster's being was being systematically torn apart at a fundamental level.

In its final moments, the creature's eyes met Naruto's, showing a glimmer of understanding – this wasn't just power, this was power on a scale it couldn't comprehend. The monster's massive form collapsed in on itself, crushed by the inexorable force of Naruto's psychic assault until nothing remained but a brilliant shower of mana particles that filled the chamber with ethereal light.

The wave continued outward, touching the chamber walls, causing the crystalline veins to pulse one final time before going dark. The black stone surfaces, which had absorbed so much light, now reflected the scattered mana particles, creating an almost beautiful display of swirling lights.

Naruto lowered his hand, watching as the last traces of the boss monster dissipated into the air. The chamber, now eerily quiet after the intense battle, began to show signs of the gate's impending closure. The walls started to fall, the reality of the dungeon breaking down now that its master had been defeated.

"Time to head back," Naruto murmured, turning toward the exit as the S-Rank Gate began its collapse sequence. Behind him, the massive chamber continued to dissolve, taking with it all evidence of the incredible power that had just been displayed. "Job done !?" Naruto asked, as his 20 of shadow clones arrived in front of him.

"Yes!" They responded, as Naruto nodded as his shadow clones soon was dispersed as it was Naruto , alone walking out of the Gate.

Outside, the people of Dhaka would soon be able to return to their homes, never knowing just how close they had come to facing a truly formidable threat – or how easily that threat had been eliminated by a single hunter's power.

---

The gate's ethereal blue flames flickered and dimmed as Naruto emerged. It was raining down all of a sudden outside , as Naruto walked out.

The assembled hunters, who had been maintaining their positions around the perimeter even in the rain, stared in disbelief. Their watches showed that barely twenty-five minutes had passed since he'd entered.

"Impossible..." one of the younger hunters whispered.

Zafar Khan, who had been monitoring the gate's energy signatures, shook his head in amazement. "The gate's magical energy... it's completely stabilized. He actually did it."

The blue flames of the gate twisted inward, collapsing in on themselves before vanishing entirely, leaving only empty air where the massive portal had stood. The oppressive atmosphere that had hung over the area for eight days lifted like a heavy curtain being drawn aside.

"It's Raining all of a sudden, huh ?" He muttered to himself, as the rain fell, it created a fascinating phenomenon around Naruto. The raindrops never actually touched him, instead appearing to slow down and stop at a microscopic distance from his body. The water droplets hung suspended in the air around him, creating what looked like a living constellation of crystalline beads.

The Hunters and reporters looked with awe around him at the mesmerizing scene in front of them, created around Naruto.

But before anyone could approach Naruto, reporters who had been waiting at the safety perimeter rushed forward, cameras flashing and questions overlapping:

"Mr. Naruto, how did you manage to clear it so quickly?"

"Was there any difficulty with the boss monster?"

"What message do you have for the people of Bangladesh?"

Naruto raised a hand, silencing the crowd. His voice carried easily across the gathered mass of reporters and hunters. "The gate has been cleared, and there is no longer any threat to Dhaka or its people. They can return to their homes safely." He paused, then added with a slight smile, "As promised, before evening."

As the reporters continued shouting questions, Naruto simply smiled and disappeared in an instant, his form blinking out of existence – leaving behind a crowd of amazed onlookers and a story that would soon spread across the hunter world: how one of the highest ranked gat - The S-Rank Gates in recent memory was cleared in less time than it takes to watch a television drama.

A hunter who had been tasked with evacuating the last remaining citizens returned to the gate's location, only to find the atmosphere dramatically changed from when she'd left.

"What happened?" she asked, confusion evident in her voice as she approached one of her guild members.

"What do you mean? He came, cleared the gate, and left already," her colleague responded matter-of-factly.

Priyanka, the female hunter, turned to her guild mate with a perplexed expression. "That doesn't make sense. I'm an A-Rank hunter, and my specialty is sensing magical energy. I should have felt something when he was clearing the gate, or at least when he arrived. I was hoping to meet him too."

"But he was right here," her colleague insisted, holding up his phone to show her the recorded footage. "Everyone witnessed it."

Priyanka crossed her arms, her frown deepening. "I understand that, but... even when S-Rank hunters completely suppress their power, I can usually detect traces of their magical energy. It's my strongest ability. Yet I didn't sense anything at all while I was helping with evacuations in the eastern sector."

Several nearby hunters paused their activities, considering her words carefully. "Now that you mention it..." one of them began thoughtfully, but his voice was lost in the growing commotion as reporters and officials rushed to coordinate the citizens' return to their homes.

The implications of Priyanka's observation hung in the air, adding another layer of mystery to the already extraordinary events of the day.
