The team ventured deeper into the dungeon, but this time Naruto felt a whole new level of excitement. He was fully prepared and knew exactly what to do. Unlike before, he confidently walked alongside the group, sticking close to Cha Hae-In, just a step behind her.
As they moved forward, Naruto could feel the magical energy of monsters up ahead. It seemed a little different than what he had felt the last time. Maybe the monsters were different, or perhaps they were getting stronger as the team went further inside the dungeon. Whatever the case, Naruto's senses sharpened as he concentrated on what lay ahead. 'This is going to be a piece of cake!' he thought to himself.
Out of nowhere, a pack of monsters appeared. They looked like big hyenas, about the size of wolves, with striking red fur and black ears, legs, and tails and there seemed to be about 15 to 20 of these creatures.
"Dungeon Jackals!" one of the team members gasped in surprise.
Naruto, keeping his cool, closed his eyes for a moment. As the team prepared to face the beasts, he raised a hand to signal them to pause. "I'll take care of this," he said confidently. He glanced briefly at Cha Hae-In, who signaled the rest of the team to hold back. According to the agreement they had, since it was Naruto's first mission, he was allowed to fight on his own or in any way he felt comfortable. Seeing his confidence now, it was clear he was ready to take on the challenge.
Cha Hae-In nodded, but she was a bit curious. She wondered how a mage-type hunter would handle this situation, especially on their own. Dungeon Jackals weren't the toughest monsters out there, and for an S-Rank hunter, dealing with them should be manageable unless they're a healer. Still, she couldn't help but question whether Naruto, in what she believed was his first real fight, could handle them.
Meanwhile, Naruto stood there with a confident smile. He knew these creatures weren't the strongest, but he saw this as a good opportunity to start his journey.
With a swift move, Naruto teleported right in front of one of the jackals, ready to take on the challenge.
"What?!" a loud gasp erupted from the crowd of hunters. They could hardly believe their eyes as Naruto vanished and reappeared in less than a blink.
Naruto calmly raised his hand, channeling a surge of magical energy into his palm. With a swift motion, he struck the monster with his hand. The creature was sent hurtling at an incredible speed, eventually crashing into the cave wall at the farthest corner.
Naruto didn't pause for a moment. As another monster lunged at him, he vanished again, reappearing right behind it. With another powerful swing of his palm, he unleashed a burst of magical energy. Just like before, the monster was sent flying.
A satisfied smile spread across his face as he teleported away from the pack, watching them regroup and prepare for another attack.
"I think I've had enough fun with these weaklings," Naruto thought to himself. "Time to end this."
"Magical Technique, Reversal: Red!"
In one smooth, fluid motion, Naruto lifted his hand and activated **Reversal Red**. This technique unleashed a mighty repulsive force that surged outward from his palm, radiating a brilliant red energy. The air sizzled with power, and the entire cavern was bathed in a vivid red glow for a moment, illuminating everything around with its intense light.
"It'll do," Naruto said confidently. With a flick of his wrist, he sent the attack hurtling toward the approaching Dungeon Jackals. Instantly, the creatures were lifted off the ground, hanging in the air for a brief second before being violently thrown back. The force was immense; they crashed into each other and slammed against the hard rock walls of the cavern, their cries of distress echoing around as they fell to the overwhelming power of the technique.
With that single move, Naruto had taken down the entire pack of Dungeon Jackals.
"This is fun, and for some reason, it really feels like I was made for this hunter stuff!" Naruto thought to himself, feeling a rush of excitement. He headed back to the group of hunters with a small smile on his face. "Let's go, then!" he announced confidently.
The hunters were initially taken aback, but soon nodded in agreement, realizing why Naruto was an S-Rank Hunter. Yet, Cha Hae-In couldn't shake the question from her mind, 'Is Naruto really a Mage Class hunter?'
"You did well!" Cha Hae-In said as Naruto rejoined the team.
Afterward, Naruto and the team ventured deeper into the dungeon. They soon encountered another group of monsters, but this time, they managed to defeat them without any trouble. Naruto joined in to support the team, trying to blend in and work together with them. However, it proved a bit challenging since his powerful techniques often led him to take down most of the monsters by himself.
After some time, the team entered a massive room and immediately sensed a surge of magical energy, the strongest they had felt in the dungeon so far, excluding the hunters themselves.
"It looks like we've reached the boss room!" Cha Hae-In announced.
Naruto felt a thrill of anticipation. "I'm very much ready for this!" he thought to himself, eager to face the challenge ahead.
