The dynasty of humanity—a city, a nation.
Coruna Heights shared the same noble rank promotion system as other royal cities of humanity.
Duke, Marquis, Count, Viscount, Baron—the ranks ascended step by step, each a daunting threshold to cross. For commoners, becoming a knight was the only way to earn a title. Yet, the upper aristocracy usually intended to only grant baron or viscount ranks to the commoners, dismissing them easily. However, that particular king had garnered an exceptionally high reputation among the populace. At the time, there was a bug in the Merit Points system. Achievements that would have been unattainable for ordinary people came effortlessly to him...
In the end, that king became the only commoner king of Coruna Heights.
After the king's death, the aristocrats amended several rules regarding the acquisition of Merit Points, all to deal with situations like today's.
In other words, no matter how much of a stir Daniel caused, the rewards he'd receive would likely fall outside of the Merit Points system. It might even be better to honestly gather a band of fighters and go chop off some demons' ears during non-battlefield times. That way, he'd probably accumulate more Merit Points.
The merit officer swallowed hard, bending over as he reached under the desk and pulled out a bottle of red rum. He took several hearty swigs before continuing:
"Duke, Marquis, Count, Viscount, Baron—baron requires ten thousand Merit Points, viscount one hundred thousand, Count a million, marquis ten million, and duke a hundred million. For a commoner to climb that high, they'd have to put their life on the line. But those aristocrats... ha! They can inherit titles without a hitch, trade them internally, or even marry off their daughters to someone else's bed... Daniel, do you understand? Do you really think you can live long enough to earn millions in Merit Points?"
As the merit officer reached this point, Daniel's expression and demeanor remained largely unchanged.
Daniel's breathing remained steady, his gaze devoid of anger, showing only signs of deep thought.
The merit officer's lips curled into a slight smile, satisfied. Most young men, upon hearing these words, would have had their worldviews shattered and would have lashed out in rage.
The so-called knight's pledge was nothing more than a game the upper class played with those beneath them.
But then again, Daniel was different—after all, he shared the same affinity for flames as that former king. How could he possibly be like the average young man?
"Assassination! Framing! Decay! Assimilation! Corruption..." The merit officer saw the hunger for a title in Daniel's eyes. "If anyone dares to keep climbing, they have plenty of ways to bring them down. And especially you, with your potential to climb to the very top as a flame affinity wielder?"
The merit officer locked his gaze onto Daniel's eyes, the alcohol from the rum quickly clouding his senses, making him feel tipsy.
Once upon a time, the merit officer had been a passionate knight, eager to rise to a higher rank. But after he saw the true nature of humanity's elite, he lost his drive and chose a quiet post, ready to spend the rest of his days in obscurity. Yet, in this moment, he hoped the young man before him could accomplish what he once could not.
Daniel smiled, patting the merit officer on the shoulder. "I understand."
With that, Daniel turned and left. As he took a breath, his thoughts became clear.
How interesting.
Since obtaining the Evil Woman System, he had grown a bit cocky. In his eyes, aside from the challenge of making the Evil Woman submit, acquiring anything else seemed like a matter of convenience or just a matter of time.
But now, with a more intriguing goal in mind, he felt his blood boil with excitement.
If those aristocrats didn't want someone to rise above them, then he was determined to rise above them even more!
"Daniel, Daniel!" Jolene, wearing a light training outfit, ran up to him. "There you are. What are you planning to do now? The veterans mentioned that the Demon Clan probably won't attack again during our seven days of service."
Jolene had a naturally good figure, and the training outfit clung closely to her, as if it was just a thin layer of fabric barely covering her. It seemed like a simple tug could tear it away.
At this moment, Daniel's gaze had an unusual intensity, a dominance rarely seen before.
As Jolene met Daniel's eyes, she felt as though a hot coal had been pressed against her chest, her whole body flushing with heat.
Damn it! Daniel looked like he wanted to throw her onto a bed and have his way with her. Jolene's mind filled with vivid, steamy images.
Her mouth went dry, and for a moment, she didn't know what to say next.
Daniel noticed the flush on Jolene's cheeks and understood what she was thinking. He met her fiery gaze, paused for a moment, and said, "In an hour—no, in two hours, gather a small team. Not many, just twenty or thirty people, and all of them need to be mounted. We're heading back to the Demon Clan's territory to collect more ears!"
Daniel squinted towards the distant rows of tents, realizing that only the merit officer's spot seemed to have a bit of peace.
When Jolene heard Daniel's words, she felt a sense of disappointment.
In truth, her body craved a man, and if that man could be Daniel, it would be even better.
No!
From now on, the only man she would consider was Daniel!
Jolene made this vow silently in her heart. The thought that Daniel might already be aware of her feelings—thanks to his prophetic abilities—made her cheeks flush even more.
Jolene wasn't feeling shy; she was feeling excited!
Could Daniel really know everything that was going through her mind? What about the images she had in her head? How much could he see?
"Alright, alright... I'll get to it right away," Jolene murmured, licking her lips and pushing down the wild images flooding her mind. She was determined to complete the task Daniel had given her as soon as possible.
Daniel reached out and grabbed Jolene's arm. "Knight Jolene, I said two hours from now."
Jolene looked puzzled.
Daniel nodded towards the merit officer's tent. "Come with me."
He pulled Jolene into the merit officer's tent. "Merit officer, go keep watch outside. Don't let anyone disturb me."
The merit officer, being well into middle age, instantly understood what these two might be planning.
Daniel's domineering command didn't make the merit officer frown; rather, it made his eyes light up.
Ah, youth!
In that moment, the merit officer even began to think about his own daughter. If he sent her to Daniel's bed, and if Daniel really managed to rise to power in the future, then all the dreams he himself had failed to achieve might still come true through her.
Oh! Lord above!
My dear daughter, surely you won't be foolish enough to refuse this opportunity?
"Got it, got it! I'll keep watch!" The merit officer patted his chest, then marched out of the tent, drawing the curtain closed behind him.
Inside.
It was just Daniel, Jolene, and a pile of documents and paperwork.
Jolene's breathing became rapid as she locked eyes with Daniel, feeling like an electric current was coursing through her body, making her dizzy with stimulation.
"Bend over the desk," Daniel ordered. He didn't wait for Jolene's reaction and grabbed the back of her neck, pressing her down against the desk.
Thud!
Jolene's head hit the wooden surface, and she let out a soft, pained gasp.
"Daniel, be gentle," Jolene's body quivered, her eyes already glazed over.
Daniel pushed up Jolene's training outfit from her thighs, revealing her purple triangle panties in a single motion.
Jolene's hips were firm, gleaming with a smooth, pale luster.
Daniel released Jolene and gripped her buttocks firmly with both hands.
"Ah!" Jolene let out another pained groan.
Daniel grabbed Jolene's underwear and, with a ripping sound, tore it apart.
Jolene's lower body stood on the ground, while her upper body was pressed against the table, her breasts flattened against the surface.
Very quickly.
She felt her vagina being painfully torn apart by a hot rod, as if her whole body was about to split open.
Intense pain and an inexplicable sense of pleasure exploded in Jolene's mind.
She's still a virgin!
Daniel let out a satisfied hum, the enveloping sensation almost making him bite his tongue.
Jolene's training uniform, which had been pushed up to her waist, gradually became stained with some fluid. It was the fluid brought out by the thing causing trouble below. She felt as if her entire soul was about to float away.
"Mm mm! Ah ah!Daniel... go easy, it hurts." Jolene closed her eyes, biting her lip tightly.
"Isn't this the scene you had in mind? My knight, squeeze tighter," Daniel commanded.
Daniel's thrusts continued, each one nearly sending her over the edge. She still had to try to squeeze tightly; if she didn't, Daniel would slap her on the butt.
Even though the body of an elite knight is stronger than that of ordinary people, in front of Daniel, a common knight enhanced by the Evil Woman System, she was nothing more than a lamb to be casually ravaged.
Daniel withdrew the fierce weapon below and turned Jolene over.Jolene's eyes were dazed, and saliva dripped from her mouth onto the table.
"Hiss!"
Juice splattered.
"Ah! Master!"
Jolene suddenly rolled her eyes back, her entire body trembling and convulsing violently. Daniel had made her spasm!
