"As all of you know, your university exams are very close."
In a classroom filled with students, a teacher was giving his speech.
"Mr. Kim, please, you have told us this many times, and now I'm getting nervous." One of the students said he interrupted Mr. Kim's speech.

Some grunts can be heard from many students as Mr. Kim continues his speech.
What makes students nervous is not exams, but the continuous talk about exams.
It's like they are on a ticking time bomb; the bomb itself is not that dangerous, but that continuous ticking is.
That ticking makes them more nervous.
"You all should understand that how you perform in university exams will determine your position in the world."

Mr. Kim continued his speech, now some students were listening to it intently, some not.
"Mr. Kim!!" suddenly a voice from outside the classroom interrupted Mr. Kim from his speech.

"Hey, Aiden!" A voice interrupted Aiden's reading, and he moved his head toward the source of the voice.
"What happened, James?!" Said Aiden as he saw James smiling at him.
"You know, what could have happened?" James Asked Aiden.
"About what?"
"You see, the principal came himself; there has to be something." James said with curiosity in his voice.
"Who knows? It can be a new student." said Aiden with uncertainty.
"New student? At this time, when are university exams so close?" Said James, not believing Aiden.
"Well…If there is a new student, I wish she would be a beautiful girl." Said James as he saw Aiden was again engrossed in his reading.

"Ok, students, quite down a bit, I have good news for you all."
James stopped when he saw Mr. Kim coming and announcing some good news. All students became silent to know what the good news was.
Aiden and James also moved their attention to Mr. Kim.
"We have a new student here." As Mr. Kim said this, both Aiden's and James's eyes widened a little.
As Mr. Kim said this, a girl entered the classroom.

Exclamations can be heard from all over the classroom, that girl was really beautiful.
"You should have wished to get good marks in exams." Aiden whispers as he leans towards James, whose eyes are about to come out of his sockets.
'Fuck my life!' James cursed inwardly, he really should have wished for something else.
"Now, everyone, calm down. I know you are very happy to see your new classmate. But let her introduce herself." Mr. Kim said as he saw the whole class going onto an excited stage.
"Hello, everyone, Nice to meet you all, myself, Emily." Said Emily.
The whole class went silent; there was a pin-drop silence.

'Her voice is so sweet.'
Emily's voice was so sweet that everyone was mesmerized by it. Even Mr. Kim was surprised to see the whole class silent.
"'I guess I didn't waste my wish." Said James as he whispered to Aiden.
'She does have a sweet voice.' Aiden thought inwardly.
"As I'm new here, I hope everyone helps me, as university exams are also close. Thank you." Said Emily as she finished her little introduction.
"Of course, They will help you." Said Mr. Kim as he stared at the class, and they all nodded in unison.
"Ok, now, you can take that seat, Emily." Said Mr. Kim, pointing toward a vacant seat near a girl.
As Emily walked toward her seat, the Whole class was staring at her.
The seat that Mr. Kim told her was the second last seat.
Aiden And James were seated at the end of the row, with Emily seated ahead of them.
Emily took her designated seat and greeted her partner.
"Now, Everyone focus on me and open your book." Said Mr. Kim, taking everyone's attention towards him.
"Hey, Aiden!" James whispered as he didn't want to make anyone aware of him.
"What?" Said Aiden, a little annoyed by James.
"I think this is a god's sign. First, my wish, and now she is seated ahead of us. At last, God has taken pity on me." James whispered adoringly with a smile on his face and Aiden just stared at him with a deadpan expression.
"You know…" Aiden whispered slowly, gaining James's attention.
"I don't know about God, but I'll pity you when your mom beats the shit out of you for your bad grades." Said Aiden seriously. James's smile faded as he heard Aiden.
"Tsk, you're a mood destroyer." Said James in an annoyed voice.
Aiden didn't bother listening to James anymore and started listening to the lecture intently.
'Emily…huh..' Aiden thought inwardly, as his eyes landed on the new girl ahead of him.

"Now, that's all. You can all go home and remember to revise. I'll take a class test tomorrow." Said Mr. Kim, the whole class became dispirited by the word 'test'.
"No one is an exception, except Emily. And don't even think about bunking my lecture or I'll call your parents." They started protesting, but Mr. Kim didn't care, when it comes to exams, he is the most strict teacher.
As Mr. Kim left the class, the whole class was in turmoil.
"I haven't read anything!!"
"I haven't even touched my book yet!!"
"He is a devil, shit!!"
Well, it is expected. Who would study if the exams were not around the corner?
But now they have to study even if they don't want to because tests and Mr. Kim are a dangerous combo for students. And they don't want to experience it.
Many students formed their study groups so that at least they could try fighting the devil (Mr. Kim).

"Fuck off!!" Aiden pushed James away from him as he shouted.
"Bro, Please help; tutor me today." James said desperation was all over his face, he didn't mind Aiden pushing him away
"NO!!" Aiden said with an absolute voice as he started packing his bag.
"Please, bro, if I fail tomorrow's test. That devil will call at my home, and my mom will not give me next month's pocket money." Said James as he blocked Aiden from leaving the class.
"I can't; I have a part-time job today." Said Aiden slowly as he pushed James aside.
"Th.. then, Night!! Teach me at night; come to my house today." Said James thinking of a solution.
Aiden halted and thought about this solution.
"Please, bro, my mom was also missing you; she hasn't seen you for some time, She was worried about you." Said James as he saw Aiden thinking about his idea.
When the iron is hot, hit it with a hammer.
"Tch… fine." Said Aiden he turned around to James.
'It worked.' James thought inwardly and smirked.
"But… don't try to waste any time, we will only study, understood." Said Aiden as he stared at James.
"Of course, I'm very sincere when it comes to studying." James said with a serious expression.
Aiden just stared at him for some seconds and then turned around.
"I will come when my shift is over." Said Aiden as he started leaving.
"I'll be waiting!!" Shouted James as he saw Aiden leaving and a small smile came on his face.
