The night had fallen across the World of Spirits, and the air was thick with uncertainty. Orin and Nyron stood side by side, staring out over the desolate landscape that stretched before them. Aelira's words still echoed in their minds, leaving a haunting silence between them.
Nyron broke the silence first, his voice low and steady. "So, the Primordials are still out there. And we're supposed to unite the Nine Worlds against them?"
Orin nodded slowly, his grip tightening on Solstice. "That's the only way to defeat them. But Aelira wasn't clear on how we do it. We need more answers."
Nyron's expression was unreadable, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes something dark, yet determined. "We'll find those answers. We always do."
Orin glanced at Nyron. The shadow wielder had a certain confidence about him, one that Orin both admired and feared. There was a depth to him, a weight that Orin couldn't yet understand. But right now, they had to focus. The road ahead would be treacherous, and every step would bring them closer to the danger they both sensed was looming.
"I say we start with the World of Light," Orin said, his voice firm. "We know its hero, and I have some ties there. We can begin to gather our forces."
Nyron raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a slight smirk. "Sounds like a plan. But don't get too comfortable. The Nexus is everywhere, and I don't trust that it's as weak as we think."
Orin's brow furrowed, but he said nothing. Nyron was right there was more to this story than what they had uncovered so far. The Nexus, the Primordials, the Nine Worlds… everything was connected. And it was up to them to piece it all together before it was too late.
They turned as a new figure approached, its presence unmistakable even in the dim light. The tall, muscular frame of Kai Ironfist loomed before them, his broad shoulders and fiery gaze casting an intimidating shadow.
"Orin, Nyron," Kai greeted, his deep voice resonating in the air. "Aelira sent me. She said you'll need all the help you can get. What's the plan?"
Orin stepped forward, meeting Kai's gaze. "We're heading to the World of Light first. We need to gather allies from each of the Nine Worlds. Aelira believes this is the only way to stop the Primordials."
Kai gave a curt nod. "Then I'm with you. I'll go wherever you lead, Orin. You know that."
Nyron, his expression still unreadable, nodded as well. "Good. We'll need strength from all the worlds. The Nexus has made its move, and now it's time to fight back."
As they prepared to leave the World of Spirits, the air grew colder, the winds carrying with them the distant whispers of something ancient, something dark. Orin couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched that something far worse than the Nexus was closing in on them.
The World of Light would be their first stop, but it wasn't just its hero they had to convince. The world itself would be a challenge one Orin knew he wasn't ready for. But they had no choice.
