I feel a force entering my head, it hurts so much that I feel dizzy. I finally regain consciousness. Memories that don't belong to me, keep resurfacing.
Apparently, I was found next to several dead bodies, in unimaginable conditions. You could see claw marks along the walls. Following an investigation, it could only be me, even if I didn't seem to remember it. Still having no concrete proof, the chancellor decided to send me under conditioning.
I can see gray walls all around me. I try to get up but I feel resistance. I realize that I am chained to the wall. Big chains are on my wrists, I feel that if I wanted, I can easily break them with a little force. But I didn't do anything knowing that I won't stay there for very long. At least I hope so...
Ding. Ding. Ding.
The cell door opened, a dozen armed guards appeared. "Prisoners 318, stand up and face the wall." I can see fear and even disgust on their faces. I could have defended myself, but I see what use it would be, so I let them do what they want. They force my back to the wall, then one of the guards opens a black box that inside it, are metal bracelets.
He ends up taking one and putting it on my right arm. And then with a lot of force he ends up closing it, apparently my skin is very hard. I feel a little unpleasant sensation, but it quickly passes.
I can see another take a needle and inject it into my neck. Knowing that it wouldn't be enough I pretended to faint.
They ended up carrying me out of the cell to come and tie me securely to a seat, I can feel that there is a lot of movement around me. I didn't do anything... Ah the bastards, they just added metal chains, they don't think I'm an animal, right?
Finally when I feel that there is no longer as much movement. I open my eyes, all around me I can see a hundred teenagers. Who are all in the same situation if we don't forget the chains. I can see that on my right is Well and on my left Clarke.
And for some reason that I don't know, I can't help but look at her. As if a bond united us.
Just when I seemed to want to devour her with my eyes. A jolt is felt, I knew that we had unhooked ourselves from the Ark.
Clarke finally wakes up, seeing that I was still staring at her. "Cough... can I well know why you look at me like that." without really realizing what I was going to say, I ended up whispering, "You are so beautiful that I can't help but look at you." She blushed in surprise and I just understood what I just told her. What an idiot... I am!
"My name is Amarok..." I told her, smiling. Before she could even answer me a guy that I don't remember very well who he was. "Ah... you are the beast, apparently you would have killed a dozen people and we would have found you with blood..." he said scared.
Clarke looked at me in surprise but before I could give an explanation.
A screen lit up in front of us, we can see Jaha appear. "Prisoner of the Ark, listen to me now. You have been given a second chance, and as your chancellor, I can only hope that you see this not just as a chance for yourself, but as a chance for all of us, and even for humanity itself. We have no idea what awaits you down there. If the chances of survival were better, we would have sent others. Frankly, we send you because your crimes have made you expendable. Much more of each than the others."
"That's quite a speech, perfect to start a new adventure. For humanity..." I said sarcastically. Which followed by long speeches and false promises that the chancellor promised us once we had succeeded in the mission. As if teenagers who had spent most of their lives in cells would listen to them. I can say that they are stupid to believe it, in any case it suits me like that.
