Era ran up the stairs with her swollen cheeks and locked her room immediately after being hit across the face by her father for saying no to what he wants for her.
"Exorcism? You want to be an exorcist instead of taking over the whole world?!" He shouted at her like a mad man. It encouraged her to run for her life, or he might actually kill her.
It was so early in the morning and raining so much that her dad's personal driver advised that it wasn't safe to be on the road because all the major streets have been flooded. It was the first time in many years her father would be at home at this time of the day. So, she sniffed up the air of confidence to tell him her mind.
