Happy reading

On a bright afternoon, the blue sky stretched without clouds, Arion Vareth, a five-year-old boy, ran around in a small city park with other children. The park was filled with cheerful and happy laughter, while his mother, Larina, a mother who was left by her husband due to an accident, sat on a park bench not far from there, watching with a smile.
"Look, Mom! I can jump higher!" Arion exclaimed excitedly, jumping up and down as if flying.
Larina laughed, "Very good, honey! Keep playing, Mom is here, okay!"
The park was their favorite place, a place where Arion could play freely, surrounded by green trees and blooming flowers. Every afternoon, Larina always took him there, as part of a habit that gave them both a sense of security and happiness.
Arion ran after his small ball, enjoying the wind that hit his face. When the ball bounced towards the bushes, he stopped for a moment, looking up at the sky, enjoying the soft rays of the sun that was slowly starting to set. Her cheerful face turned into an expression of awe.
"Mommy, look at the sky! It's so beautiful!" she called, her eyes sparkling.
"Yes, honey. The sky at sunset is always stunning," Larina replied softly, feeling proud of her child's joy.
However, in the midst of that simple joy, something strange happened. The sky suddenly changed. From a beautiful bright blue, it became a frightening dark gray. Everyone in the park seemed oblivious to this change, except for Arion.
"Mommy, why is the sky so dark?" he asked in a small voice, full of worry.
"I don't know, honey. It might rain," Larina replied, though anxiety began to grip her heart.
She looked up, staring at the sky with a confused and questioning gaze. Up there, a giant figure appeared, so large that its body covered the moon and the stars. Its wings—six large, jet-black wings—spread out wide, covering the entire sky, plunging its surroundings into a thick, terrifying darkness.
"Mommy! There's something in the sky!" Arion shouted, his voice trembling. "Something big!"
Larina, who was still talking to another mother, turned around. "What, honey? What do you see?"
"There, Mama! That thing!" Arion pointed to the sky, his fear growing clearer.
Arion's body froze in place, his mouth wide open, trapped in a terrifying silence. Fear froze every fiber of muscle in his small body.
Suddenly, an overwhelming heat enveloped his body. Arion felt as if his entire body was burning from the inside, a painful sensation so deep, it made him fall to the ground. His small body writhed in pain, his hands clawing at the air in a futile attempt to overcome the burning sensation that was spreading.
"Mama… help…" his voice was barely audible, but Larina felt it in her heart.
A glowing mark appeared on his neck, glowing bright red, forming a strange symbol that she had never seen before. The light from the mark was so bright, but strangely, only Arion could feel it. Instantly, everything went dark.
Larina panicked when she saw Arion fall unconscious in the middle of the garden. Instantly, she rose from her seat and ran towards her son in an unbearable panic. Her hands trembled as she shook Arion's tiny body, trying to wake him up from his fainting spell.
"Arion! Arion! Wake up, honey!" she shouted, her voice broken by the tears that began to wet her cheeks.
"Mommy... I'm scared...!" Arion shouted in his nightmare, even though he was unconscious.
People around them began to gather, curious and worried seeing the confused Larina. An old man who happened to be passing by quickly offered to help, and together they took Arion to the hospital.
"He's not moving! What happened, Mom?" asked the old man as he helped Larina carry Arion.
"I don't know! He suddenly fell! I don't know what happened!" Larina answered, her voice breaking. Her heart was pounding, fear clouding her mind.
In the hospital, Arion's body began to writhe again. He woke up with a scream that broke the silence of the room, making everyone around him flinch.
"A giant creature...! There is a giant creature... It covers the sky...! It sees me...!" Arion screamed incessantly, his eyes wide with pure fear.
"Arion, honey! Mommy is here!" Larina approached, holding Arion's hand gently. "Mommy is here, honey. You are safe."
"No! Get him away from me!" Arion screamed, trying to get away from his mother, his body shaking with fear. "He will catch me!"
"Calm down, Arion! Who will catch you?" Larina asked softly, trying to calm his son down .
"That creature... That giant creature..." Arion held his mother's hand tightly, as if afraid of disappearing.
"No one will hurt you, dear. I promise," Larina tried to reassure him while wiping away the tears that were streaming down his cheeks. "I will always be there for you. What can I do to help?"
The nurses rushed over, trying to restrain his small body that continued to struggle. His screams were so loud that they were deafening, making his mother who was standing beside him cry even more.
"Calm him down! He needs help!" a nurse shouted to the doctor who arrived immediately.
The doctor quickly gave him a sedative injection, and slowly, Arion began to calm down, although his face was still wet with tears and his body was shaking with fear.
The doctor who treated him, a middle-aged man with a face full of sympathy, looked at Larina who looked desperate.
"We need to take Arion to a psychiatrist, Mrs. Larina," he said softly but firmly, "It looks like he has experienced severe trauma."
"Trauma?" Larina looked at the doctor, her eyes full of pain. "But he's just a child… What could have caused him to be like this?"
The doctor shook his head, "We need to understand what happened to him. You better prepare yourself. This might be hard."
Larina nodded wordlessly, her heart breaking seeing her son's condition so different from usual. She looked at Arion lying on the bed, his body small and weak. "Arion, honey, I'm here. I'm not going anywhere," she said while holding Arion's cold hand.
However, she didn't know that this wasn't just an ordinary nightmare. This was the beginning of something much bigger. The glowing mark now engraved on Arion's neck was the beginning of a destiny that would change his life—and the lives of many people—forever.
"Arion, I'll always be here for you, honey. Whatever happens, I'll take care of you," Larina whispered while stroking Arion's hair that was still wet with tears, hoping that her son would feel her presence.
Arion closed his eyes, feeling his mother's warmth even though fear still loomed over him. In his heart, he prayed that this nightmare would soon pass.
