Instead of heading to the basement like he wanted to, he headed back to his room instead, ordering for the doctor and the witch to be called. He wasn't surprised when he got there to find them already waiting in front of the room, their heads bowed to the ground.
"Waking her up should be fine?" Cain asked, directing his question to Uza, whose face was back to the young mask she used, with a veil hovering over it to obscure her eyes from the gaze of others as she responded.
"I can't confirm that her eyesight would have been fully restored, but by now, the pain should have been mostly gone!" Uza replied, knowing better than to outright forbid him from doing as he wanted.
'I want to live, and even if the pain would still exist, I wouldn't have stopped him,' she thought to herself, knowing that she cared more about her own life than that of the patient, whom she didn't give a shit about.
