Violet had heard enough, and again she turned to leave, only to hear Rane say words that made her freeze in shock as she realized that he meant every word.
"If you leave, I'll have no choice but to let everyone know your true identity!" he said, raising his voice a little louder as he continued speaking.
"Hey! Everyone! Violet, the Lord's assistant, is actually a girl!"
"They might not believe me at first, but I can assure you that curiosity is bound to win. Can you imagine the Lord's reaction when he finds out?" he gasped, fixing his eyes on the ceiling as he continued to shake his head.
"Your head will roll, but that will be after he's done torturing you! It would be even more painful if that sadist Ravon was the one to do it!" he continued speaking with a cruel expression on his face, one that stunned Violet as she watched him make jokes at her expense.
