The cafe had the perfect atmosphere, and Delphinia felt relieved as it was exactly what she'd hoped for. Delphinia chose it carefully after hours of scrolling through reviews, determined to find a place Ashton might like. Famous for its desserts, the cafe had a stylish yet cozy atmosphere that felt just right for a quiet bite.

Ashton walked beside her as they entered, his eyes briefly scanning the room before settling into his usual composed demeanor. Delphinia led him to a small table by the window, thinking it might be good to see outside.

"Here we go," she said, her voice light as she pulled out her chair. Ashton slid into his seat across from her without a word, his posture straight and his small hands folded neatly on the edge of the table.
