It was a smooth landing, the plane's wheels barely making a sound as they met the runway. Delphinia let out a sigh of relief. She wasn't afraid of flying, but spending hours in the confined space with Evander's smug glances had tested her patience. She glanced out the window, seeing the faint silhouette of London in the distance.
The chilly London breeze caught her off guard as she got off the plane. At the bottom of the stairs, a fancy black car waited, its surface mirroring the cloudy sky. A man in a black suit and hat stood by the car door, bowing slightly as they approached.
"Welcome, Mr. Walton, Mrs. Walton, and Young Master," he said, his voice even and formal.
Delphinia blinked, unsure whether to feel flattered or annoyed by the title she was once again assigned. Beside her, Ashton grinned widely, clearly enjoying being addressed as "Young Master."
