Chapter 24 - 024 Wizard Weekly

---

**Marvel World.**

On a beach, Balder slowly rose from his chair, stretching comfortably.

With Voldemort gaining false ancient magic, Grindelwald rejuvenated, and Dumbledore missing, the wizarding world had only one choice left.

That choice was the divine-favored Luna.

The current of fate was set!

The first divine descent was imminent!

---

**Harry Potter World.**

**From Wizarding Weekly.**

**November 13th:**

Grindelwald escaped from Nurmengard. Guard casualties unknown.

Reliable sources report a desiccated Norwegian dragon head at the scene.

**October 15th:**

The Dark Lord attacked Azkaban. 69 Aurors dead, 47 escaped, 13 were seriously injured, and all prisoners escaped.

Reliable sources indicate the Dark Lord used ancient magic from a previous magical site.

**October 16th:**

Hogwarts closed.

**November 20th:**

The Dark Lord failed to capture the Ministry of Magic with many Death Eaters.

Minister Fudge had preemptively handed over the Ministry's Portkey to Saint Luna, who killed 20 Death Eaters. The Dark Lord fled.

Holy magic was estimated to be ten times stronger than normal spells, while ancient magic seemed weak.

**November 25th:**

Due to strong demands from North American and European wizarding communities, Hogwarts opened a fifth house - the Holy House, headed by Saint Luna.

**November 27th:**

The Dark Lord captured Harry Potter with Sirius Black's help.

Unreliable sources claim the former Savior has the Dark Lord's soul fragment.

**November 28th:**

Snape betrayed Hogwarts, becoming a Death Eater again.

**December 1st:**

A magical airship from Los Angeles Holy City Academy to Hogwarts Holy House, carrying 227 first- to third-year students, was shot down. Only 46 survived.

The Dark Lord claimed responsibility.

Rumors suggest the attackers were extremist wizards (believing the divine to be evil gods bringing the apocalypse).

**December 7th:**

57 dragons at the Hungarian Horntail Breeding Ground were killed, their blood and sacs taken.

Unreliable sources claim the owner wanted to flee the wizarding world and commit insurance fraud (Gringotts compensated 320,000 Galleons).

**December 10th:**

42 green dragons at the Welsh Green Dragon Breeding Ground were killed, and their blood and sacs also disappeared.

Gringotts refused insurance compensation, calling it fraudulent.

**December 13th:**

The Swedish Short-Snout Dragon Breeding Ground was attacked, 22 of 55 blue dragons were killed, and the rest fled into the wild.

Gringotts still refused compensation.

Rumors say goblins found the culprit but dare not reveal it.

**December 14th:**

Dumbledore's ancestral home in Godric's Hollow was attacked by Death Eaters for unknown reasons.

**December 15th:**

Ministry employee Umbridge was killed at home, locket missing.

**December 16th:**

Nothing to report today.

**December 18th:**

Ollivanders Wand Shop in Diagon Alley attacked, ancient staff stolen, owner tortured with the Cruciatus Curse, now recuperating at St. Mungo's.

Shop owner Garrick Ollivander reassured customers:

"Ollivanders wands, warranty still applies, shop with confidence."

"Ollivanders wands, since 382 B.C. You deserve the best."

**October 20th:**

Nagini's body was found on Manchester shore.

Cause of death unknown.

**December 24th:**

Gringotts exploded, 13 goblins died, and Ironbelly escaped from an underground vault.

Reliable sources say Bellatrix's vault was robbed.

**December 25th:**

Lucius Malfoy was found dead under mysterious circumstances.

Rumors claim the Dark Lord sought Draco Malfoy to destroy Hogwarts.

**December 16th: Overcast.**

"Voldemort might as well have Draco destroy Hogwarts himself."

"I can picture Draco's face now, 'Are you serious, Dark Lord?'"

"Hahaha!"

**In the Great Hall, some young wizards were eating breakfast and discussing the latest stories from Wizarding Weekly, laughing joyfully.**

Despite the many major events of the past two months causing widespread panic in the wizarding world, Hogwarts had become the safest place because of Luna's presence.

Here, students had stopped referring to "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" and started calling him Voldemort.

Housing prices in Hogsmeade had increased tenfold, with many wealthy individuals buying properties.

The range of Muggle-Repelling Charms had also expanded due to the influx of believers near the village.

As a result, magically extended tents were selling well.

Luna occasionally visited.

Though she had gained divine favor and holy power, she did not preach exaggerated holy deeds or threaten sinners with hell like in the Muggle world.

She only shared the beauty she saw and used her holy power to bring peace to believers' hearts.

The only divine message she received since gaining power was the same as the one she got when she first received it: to continue finding pure divine followers.

Recently, she tried, and among the girls in the school who developed faith in the God-Lord, only Hermione, transfer student Fleur, and her sister showed some resonance.

As for the Holy House students... Although their faith grew stronger, they did not receive divine power.

The 'book spirit' in the holy artifact told her it was because the God-Lord was not in this world.

Only special divine followers could gain His gaze and receive His grace.

**Morning.**

Luna appeared in the school with a holy light apparition.

Though Hogwarts had magical wards to prevent Apparition, the enhanced divine version rendered them ineffective.

Before returning to her office, she saw Headmistress McGonagall waiting at the door.

"Is there bad news again?" Luna asked helplessly.

She felt the world had changed too much recently, nothing like the wizarding world she remembered.

Professor McGonagall patted her shoulder comfortingly and quickly said:

"Last night, Mr. Lucius Malfoy and his family returned with Professor Snape's help, and Harry was successfully rescued."

Luna nodded; she was one of the few who knew why Snape pretended to return to the Death Eaters.

She was surprised, given that the Potions professor seemed to hold a great enmity towards Harry.

Luna thought and asked:

"Is there more bad news? Otherwise, you wouldn't be here waiting for me."

Headmistress McGonagall nodded:

"They also brought news that Voldemort recovered all his Horcruxes, reuniting his soul, and truly learned ancient magic. Ollivander's large wand was also taken by him, said to enhance power."

"Last night, we discussed and guessed he would attack Hogwarts soon."

"You know, Voldemort now sees you as his true opponent."

But not only Voldemort.

Harry's status as the Savior was no longer discussed; that prophecy was now history.

Luna's expression grew serious at this information.

Confidence was fine, but arrogance wasn't.

She felt she needed to expedite the process.

At least one of Hermione or the Delacour sisters needed to become a divine follower soon.

Even if Voldemort became more powerful than her, a two-on-one fight would greatly improve their chances.

Thinking it over, she skipped class and had her house prefect teach from *Secrets Beyond the World*.

Although she usually did this, today she felt justified.

**In the Ravenclaw bathroom.**

Luna and the three girls shed their clothes and entered the cold pool.

When completely submerged with eyes closed, one would feel like they were sinking into a dark abyss.

It was then that Luna would release her inner divine power to resonate, letting the three feel it.

This also allowed them to stay underwater without breathing.

In the faint white light, Hermione closed her eyes, listening to her heartbeat, gradually relaxing.

She focused on sensing Luna's holy light, visualizing her soul being enveloped.

Time passed.

Perhaps the moment had come.

In the dark world, Hermione felt a light above her head.

She looked up, seeing a figure with a seven-colored halo looking at her from above the water.

Hermione was thrilled.

She could feel a holiness even stronger than Luna's angel guardian, undoubtedly the deity's gaze.

But she immediately felt shy, realizing she was completely exposed.

Just the thought disrupted the rare opportunity, causing the scene to collapse.

Regretfully, Hermione opened her eyes and surfaced.

As a divine follower, everything belonged to the God-Lord; such feelings were inappropriate.

But she quickly regained confidence.

With this experience, she might succeed next time.

Next time, she wouldn't be shy.

---

**PS:**

Luna helped the three resonate in extreme silence, with no one else around, including other girls and the book.

Hermione's faith stemmed from the immense shock she felt at seeing the holy angel in the Department of Mysteries.

Also, to clarify, Loki is not the book but a shadow in it, so he wouldn't interact with Luna.
