**Asgard.**
Balder appeared out of thin air in space.
This time, he concealed his power, so no strange phenomena occurred.
The World Tree sensed his presence but only trembled lightly before calming down, very sentient.
In the next second, Balder took a step.
The surrounding space collapsed, and when he reappeared, he was on the moon.
He gazed at Earth, his eyes glowing white.
The hidden scenes beneath reality reflected in his eyes.
He saw the entire Earth wrapped in a massive dimensional barrier, like layers of golden mesh, tightly interwoven.
Balder showed a knowing expression.
As a god, he couldn't casually go to Earth; his arrival would trigger defenses, both inside and outside.
As the universe's axis, Eternity wouldn't leave any flaws.
At that moment, Balder spoke into the air, as if to himself:
"This barrier isn't supported by Earth's energy nodes, right? Are the three Sanctums truly useful?"
The Ancient One emerged from the mirror dimension, chuckling:
"You really can't be fooled."
"But the Sanctums aren't entirely useless; they might fool some fools at crucial times."
You must mean fools like Dormammu… Balder mourned for a fellow god for a moment, then changed the subject:
"Let's go. I believe 'He' has agreed to meet."
The Ancient One looked seriously at Balder for a few seconds, then said:
"You are truly special. I've never heard of any dimensional god wanting to meet the Great God Eternity. Not even Vishanti would do this."
"Aren't you afraid of losing this incarnation and becoming incomplete?"
To her, dimensional gods and Eternity were naturally opposed; the universe's essence was an insurmountable obstacle.
Balder shrugged, looking nonchalant:
"Someone has to be different, don't you think?"
The Ancient One shook her head.
This was beyond different; it was unlike any dimensional god.
If not for the unique fluctuations and aura from his first appearance in the real world, she would think he was a single-universe powerhouse disguised as a god.
But that didn't matter; it wasn't her concern.
"Please, Balder"
The Ancient One raised her hand, a blue portal spinning open.
Balder casually stepped through.
Before him was an ancient temple, with colossal busts.
He glanced around, recognizing Eternity in the center, flanked by the Celestials, Death, Infinity, and the Living Tribunal.
The last one he didn't recognize.
But that was normal.
In his previous life, though he knew much about the Marvel universe, its multiverse was too vast to know everything.
At that moment, the Ancient One followed, her expression becoming solemn:
"You should know how to enter. The Great God Eternity is waiting inside."
Balder nodded, then walked straight ahead.
In the next second, he passed through the surface, entering the real divine statue carved from star rock.
Time, space, matter… all blurred momentarily.
When Balder reopened his eyes, the scene before him had completely changed.
It wasn't the water surface world from 'Thor: Love and Thunder' as he thought, but the void!
Eternity wasn't the faceless giant on water but an abstract humanoid entity with clear facial features formed by galaxies.
At a glance, Balder seemed to see countless overlays on Eternity.
"Sorry, I forgot to hide the other timelines."
A heavy voice sounded.
As Eternity spoke, he collected his different aspects, his form becoming clearer.
So, the countless time branches aren't the multiverse… Balder thought, then said:
"I didn't expect to meet you outside the world; I thought it would be in some pocket dimension."
Eternity lowered his head, quite honestly saying:
**"As the first dimensional god wanting to meet me, you should be special."**
**"Moreover, this place is better for killing you."**
**"Now state your purpose."**
Clearly, if the talks failed, this abstract deity wouldn't hold back.
Balder wasn't surprised by Eternity's attitude and got straight to the point:
"How about a deal?"
"I help guard the real dimension, and in return, I can freely turn any hero on any timeline I choose into my followers."
Eternity didn't immediately agree, his voice deep:
"I don't understand."
Those heroes, though unique, were not essential to Him.
For Eternity encompasses all possibilities.
Not just altering their fates, even the destruction of many timelines wouldn't matter much.
Balder continued:
"I understand your concern; a dimensional god roaming the real dimension is a threat."
"So I'll add a condition: I'll sign a contract as a god, never to consume the universe's essence. If I violate it, I'll descend to a lower dimension."
This time, Eternity was genuinely tempted!
A dimensional god who never consumes the universe's essence guarding the real world, with the only cost being those heroes.
It was an excellent deal.
After all, the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj couldn't be perfect forever, and the Ancient One couldn't remain the Sorcerer Supreme indefinitely.
Especially that Strange fellow.
Despite the Ancient One's recommendation, He had little faith in him.
Most importantly, there was no need to find another way to defend against a god who could come to reality from any of the Nine Realms.
Even if it was just a single incarnation!
"I accept your proposal."
He feared Balder might change his mind.
Maybe this dimensional god was special, growing stronger through those heroes.
But as long as he didn't consume the universe's essence, even a god-like Cyttorak, transcending the universe, wouldn't matter.
Hearing this, Balder finally relaxed.
The Marvel multiverse had many Eternitys; encountering one stubborn one wouldn't be surprising.
Fortunately, his world wasn't one of them.
The rest was simple: signing a contract as a god, after which he returned to reality.

**In the temple.**
The Ancient One looked at Balder in disbelief; he had come out alive!
Moreover, she soon received a message from Eternity.
**[In crucial times, the Sorcerer Supreme and Kamar-Taj must follow Balder's command.]**
**[He will guard the real dimension against invasion by dimensional gods!]**
What kind of order was this!?
A god guarding the dimensional barrier against other gods?
It was crazier than Dormammu offering her dark energy!
Had Eternity been swayed by him?
She couldn't believe it and repeatedly sought confirmation from Eternity.
In the next second, the Ancient One's face twitched.
Eternity, annoyed by her pestering, had blocked her.
At that moment, Balder cheerfully approached, patting her rigid shoulder:
"Let's go, Sorcerer Supreme."
"The Earth awaits my protection, and who knows, Dormammu might come knocking for his debt soon~"
