Unlike Ning Rongrong's Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda spirit, which can automatically locate rare metals, my analysis requires evaluating each metal individually.
Fortunately, locating rare metals doesn't require a "complete analysis." A basic analysis is enough; otherwise, it would be too exhausting.
"Oh, this is Cold Iron. The price is well below market value. Buy it."
"Gold. It's a common ore, but this one is a large piece. It's darkened by coal, so no one noticed. Buy it."
"Tungsten. This is a very rare ore, but it's damaged, and the price is too high. Not worth it."
"Black Steel. Its price is below market value. Buy it."
"This... is Crystalline Gold. Even though it's just a small piece, crafting it requires a lot of time. I've never managed to obtain one of these, even as a prince. What luck to find it here. Buy it."
And so, I continued my routine. Every day, I went to the market, using an illusion to disguise myself as someone else, and assessed the available metals.
Most of my time, however, was spent in the mansion, building formations. I focused mainly on the teleportation formation, but I also created some supportive ones, such as defensive, offensive, and illusion formations. However, I limited these formations to the area surrounding the room where the teleportation formation was located.
There was no need to create too many formations in this mansion. However, the primary spiritual formation was built on a smaller scale to provide sufficient energy for teleportation. It doesn't compare to the formation I created in my own mansion, which covers my entire territory, but it will be enough to accumulate the necessary energy.
Thirty days later, I finally completed my stay in Gengxin City.
"Connecting the coordinates... Done, coordinates fixed." I dusted off my clothes as I observed the progress.
On one of the platform's pillars, a blue indicator was blinking, almost like a modern control panel.
"The accumulated energy is enough for a one-way teleportation. It's time to test it." I thought, excited. However, I missed a comment from Sister Daydream.
Since the Shunpo technique hit a bottleneck, Sister Daydream had been focusing all her energy on finding solutions to improve it. So far, she hadn't found anything.
Feeling a bit disappointed that she wasn't present to witness my masterpiece, I left the room to inform the servants that I would assign a steward to take care of the mansion. Of course, I couldn't leave it in the hands of someone unreliable.
Since I was born, many maids have cared for me. Thanks to my aura ability, I could select someone trustworthy to take on this responsibility. If they weren't interested, I always offered the chance to evaluate their relatives. This is one of the benefits of serving a noble, especially if you earn their trust.
After communicating my decision to the servants, I created an illusion simulating my departure from the city. In truth, I was still in the room with the teleportation platform.
I positioned myself within the teleportation circle. On one of the pillars, the words "Imperial Capital" were engraved. I manipulated the energy pillar, and the blue indicator showing the accumulated energy began to drain.
All the runes of the teleportation formation activated. My body was enveloped in dark energy, and I lost my vision. Moments later, I felt my body being crushed and twisted in different directions. After a while, I regained my senses.
"It's an uncomfortable feeling. Now I understand why some characters complain about teleportation." I muttered, trying to shake off the discomfort.
When I felt better, I left the room. I was now back in my mansion in the Imperial Capital. Some maids looked at me with surprised expressions, as if they had seen a ghost.
I simply smiled and greeted them as usual. One of them ran off, probably to call Jiangqi, who was now the mansion's head maid. Her mother had retired some time ago, leaving the position to her daughter.
"Young Master Bai, is it really you?" Jiangqi asked, her face filled with surprise.
"Of course, don't you recognize me? It's only been a little over a month."
In response, Jiangqi twisted my ears. That's when I remembered: I'm still only six years old.
My pain tolerance is pretty good, but to let her vent, I pretended it hurt. Her pouty expression was truly adorable.
"Do you know how worried we were?" Jiangqi asked, twisting my ears harder.
"I'm sorry, forgive me! If you keep this up, my ear is going to come off!" This time, I wasn't pretending; she really twisted it hard.
"I hope this doesn't happen again." Jiangqi let go of my ear, now red from the twisting. She then hugged me gently, and my face ended up buried in her bosom.
Unfortunately, I can't promise that. I still have so much to do.
"Where are Zhuqing and Yunyun?" I asked, lifting my head from Jiangqi's bosom to breathe and, at the same time, avoid her next question.
"At the moment, she's studying with Teacher Qi," Jiangqi replied, still holding me tightly.
When Zhuqing joined our mansion, I had asked Teacher Qi to take charge of her education. After I turned six years old, Teacher Qi was supposed to return to her previous position as a teacher at Star Luo Academy. Normally, upon awakening my Martial Soul, I should have joined the academy, but I refused. I requested to continue my studies independently.
Thanks to this decision, Teacher Qi remained in the mansion and now oversees Zhu Zhuqing's studies.
After chatting a bit more with Jiangqi, I returned to my room and entered my Spiritual World.
My Spiritual World has changed a lot since before.
Now, a small island has formed in the center of a lake. Around the lake, there is a circular mountain range, built with great effort and an enormous amount of stones.
Of course, I didn't do this just for aesthetics or without purpose. Soon, I'll undertake an action that will make this Spiritual World resemble a real world, and this mountain range will be crucial.
At the center of the island, a mansion has been built. Its style is unlike anything from this world, strongly reminiscent of mansions from my previous world.
This mansion was my creation and, unlike the mountain range, was constructed purely for decoration—a resting place for Sister Daydream.
However, I took advantage of its construction to create an underground space that serves as the core of the Great Talisman Formation.
This was the reason for my visit to the Spiritual World. The formation has changed a lot since the last time. The four main runes remain the same, but now they all have the golden hue of the Absorption Rune and emit an almost divine aura.
The fifth rune, the Storage Rune, is no longer at the formation's core. It has been expanded to cover the entire Spiritual World, ensuring that Sister Daydream's power doesn't dissipate.
What transformed the formation into gold was the positive energy from the "Good Deed" reward. I replaced all the regular energy with this special energy.
"Why positive energy and not Xiantian energy?" The answer is simple: Xiantian energy doesn't change the structure of the formation; it only slightly improves its speed. On the other hand, positive energy not only accelerates the process but also transforms Xiantian energy into something entirely new.
Previously, Xiantian energy was white. With the switch to positive energy, it turned golden, like a gold pearl.
And by replacing the positive energy in the formation with this newly transformed energy, the formation evolved into something far more special—still golden, but now radiating an almost divine aura.
I named this new energy Divine Xiantian.
Divine Xiantian energy retains all the benefits of the previous energies and enhances them. Since I began cultivating with it, my progress has accelerated tremendously.
I've now reached level 14, and even the curse from the "Golden Mushroom" reward is slowly being purified by this energy.
The first curse, which restricts my physique by 34%, has already been reduced to 30%. I feel, however, that the other two curses will be much harder to cleanse. Even so, this progress is encouraging.
Beyond the changes in the formation, the room is filled with small runes floating around. These runes represent the main patterns of each talisman and formation I've created so far. Small threads connect these runes to the book at the formation's core.
These runes assist in optimizing the refining process of Divine Xiantian energy.
I sat cross-legged and began creating new small runes to further improve the Great Talisman Formation.
