Has it ever crossed your mind how we can become different characters in someone else's story? I mean, we could be a loyal friend, a loving family member, a caring lover, a simple stranger, or even a sworn enemy. And that sometimes, no matter how hard we try to show or express our true selves, we just can't change the narrative. Perhaps it's because that's how we were written and as the role we were meant to play in their stories— as side characters. In the end, the more we try to be good in other people's stories, the more we tend to forget to be better for our own.
