Chereads / Madam, you are married! / Chapter 4 - chapter four

Chapter 4 - chapter four

The restaurant wasn't very crowded; at least half of the tables were empty. Today wasn't a weekend when families would eat out together. Aware of the confused looks, Javier took Ayunda's arm tightly. He smiled broadly and led her to the reserved table. Instead of sitting as a couple, her two older brothers chose to sit flanking her. Ayunda glanced at them briefly only to find their expressions looking indifferent. Nolan, who had been observing, scoffed and returned to carefully examining the menu. He gestured to the waiter to approach and began ordering.

The two men sitting beside Ayunda didn't care. They were both busy paying small attention to every movement their princess made. Ayunda glanced at the man sitting in front of her, but when her eyes met his clear ones, Ayunda quickly looked away.

"Anything else, sir?" the waiter asked. Nolan simply waved his hand and muttered a thank you. As soon as the waiter left, his gaze immediately swept over Ayunda completely. There was no trace of objection on his face. Nolan remembered that after they got married, as a form of anger towards her four older brothers who couldn't help at all, she cut off contact with them. Of course, as the people they trusted, every reason for their princess's anger was because of him, Nolan had to accept their disturbance almost every day for one year since he marry their little sister.

Ayunda, who was sitting in front of him now, was Ayunda who put on a face as if she had only just felt their warmth. Occasionally, the girl blinked in confusion and covered her mouth with her thin fists to hide her nervousness. Her gaze often glanced towards him, although in the end she tried quickly to look away. For a moment, Nolan felt that the girl in front of him looked funny.

"What are you looking at?" Rafa covered Ayunda's face with his large hand, his eyes glaring at Nolan.

Nolan, who didn't respond, made Rafa even more enraged. Rafa hugged Ayunda's shoulders tightly as if protecting her from a wild beast ready to pounce.

"Princess, I have to go to a match next week..." Javier complained, his hand busy stroking his sister's head affectionately, he didn't even care about the waiter who came to deliver the order.

"What if I just quit the team?" Javier question made the waiter turn his head. After all, Javier was a football player who represented their country in many matches against other national teams. Suddenly, his words that came out without warning made the two male waiters look up in surprise.

"I can't live without my princess..." Javier whined, resting his head on Ayunda's shoulder coquettishly.

"Our comes is number one..." Ayunda mumbled softly. Even if she was a member of a private organization, she still enthusiastically helped with serious cases ordered by the state, and even her last mission. Ayunda held her head, no matter how hard she tried she couldn't remember a single thing related to her last memory.

"Why, Nda, are you sick?" Rafa asked worriedly.

"No, I'm just a little dizzy." Ayunda replied softly.

Javier, who heard it, blew on the wound on her forehead, as if his blow could have a healing effect. Nolan, seeing the two acting silly, could only roll his eyes lazily.

"Eat this, princess." Rafa put a piece of boiled meat in her bowl. Ayunda glanced at the piece of meat that was already in her bowl, realizing that the man with the two-haircut had not put any food in his own mouth, Ayunda blinked, she took a piece of meat from the pot and put it in the bowl in front of him. Rafa, who saw it, blinked. He looked at Ayunda with watery eyes as if touched.

"Princess..." Javier whined, "Why didn't you take one for me too?" Javier asked in a dramatic tone, and Ayunda quickly took a piece of meat and put it in Javier's bowl. Javier, who saw it, smiled broadly and then took out his phone and took a good picture.

"A piece of meat taken specifically by my little princess for her beloved brother." After smiling contentedly, he pressed the post button to send it. Suddenly, the post containing only a photo of the meat was flooded.

The four of them continued to eat. Javier, who seemed to know what would happen with his phone, quickly muted the notification without realizing that two men in different places were already holding back their boiling anger.

The car that Nolan was driving entered the residential area. The car stopped in front of a tall black gate. Without waiting long, the tall gate opened immediately. It took about two minutes to drive to right in front of the house. The tropical-style house that she saw looked so luxurious. Her blood rushed. In her previous life, having a house was a luxury even for a small house with two rooms, she would at least have to have a lot of money. But for herself, Ayunda never dared to dream of buying a house, even though the money she received every time she completed a mission was quite large, but she also had to pay off the debts left by her gambling-addicted father, besides that she also had to pay for the costs of treating her mother when she was still undergoing treatment, and that required a lot of money.

Ayunda chuckled softly, remembering her previous life made she wanna cry. She almost never cried. For her, life would go on and whatever the situation she just had to think about how to survive for tomorrow. But, the fact that she was now living a different life made her feel a little confused.

"Finally arrived." Rafa stretched his stiff body, then led Ayunda to walk through a small footpath to the front door.

In front of them, Naren and Naura were standing together as if ready to welcome them. Rafa, without shame, smiled broadly and patted Naren's shoulder familiarly.

"Where's the room?"

Naren, who was asked, looked up at his brother-in-law who was walking behind, carrying a bag. Realizing his brother's glance, Nolan nodded to give a signal. Previously, he had told the two that Ayunda's two older brothers would be staying with them for a while, and Nolan asked them to prepare a guest room.

"Where is our princess's room?" Rafa's question made Naren look up in confusion, he turned to Nolan again for help. For him, dealing with his brother-in-law's older brothers was like dealing with an anomaly he had never encountered before. Nolan, who understood his younger brother's confusion, walked forward.

"The master bedroom is on the second floor." Nolan walked up the stairs, his five followers following like ducklings following their mother.

"Nice," Rafa commented as soon as they entered the master bedroom, while Javier, who was holding Ayunda's hand, acted indifferently.

"So this is the room for the three of us?" Javier rubbed his nose, his eyes staring at Nolan seriously, who was only raising an eyebrow.

"This is my room and Ayunda's." Nolan replied and put his bag on the ottoman chair.

Hearing Nolan's answer made Rafa and Javier widen their eyes in disbelief. Both of them quickly covered Ayunda and crossed their arms.

"I've prepared a room for the brothers." Naura spoke up, her eyes looking at the two men alternately.

"Just call us brother like the princess usually does," Rafa replied, but he didn't heed Naura's words about the room.

Understanding the host's intention, Javier cleared his throat and glanced at Ayunda, "The three of us can't be separated." Javier refused, his eyes half-squinted. He had already planned to spend a week with Ayunda, including enjoying the series they used to watch together as children before bed, and then they would sleep while holding hands. No matter how tired the two twins looked, the two men stubbornly put on confident faces.

Naura felt dizzy. Now she knew what kind of burden her brother had to bear for a year in dealing with her four brothers-in-law. Their ages were not much different, even some were older, but their nature and behavior were like children who only did whatever they wanted to do.

"If you really want to stay in this house, please follow my decision as the owner of the house." Nolan said firmly, not caring about the looks of resentment in their eyes.

"Ayunda should go home with us!" Rafa snorted, his hand reaching for Ayunda's small hand, "You come with me, okay?" Rafa asked with pleading eyes, like a cat asking for protection, while Javier just sighed, no matter what he knew that Ayunda was married, and Nolan's words were not wrong. But who was he? Javier was nicknamed a football player with the highest self-confidence, so he immediately lay down on the bed and spread his legs and arms as if taking over the territory.

"Because I got here first, this room is mine!"

Naren and Naura turned to look at each other, they had never expected to meet such strange and shameless people in their twenty years of life.

Ayunda, who had been silent all this time, sighed softly, feeling tired of their behavior.

"Even though we can't sleep together, we can still have breakfast, lunch, and dinner together." Ayunda spoke up, "We can also play together..." Her tone was half-persuasive, like she was talking to a child, "We live in the same house, don't we?" her tone was half-persuasive, as if she were talking to a child

"Just living in the same house isn't enough," Javier pouted, "What if that ironwood does something bad?"

Nolan raised his eyebrow. "We're married."

Hearing Nolan's words made turn her head. The man stood with his calm face and his eyes that always looked clear. Ayunda tilted her head and blinked, "Yeah... We're married."

Ayunda soft words successfully startled her two older brother. They couldn't believe what they were hearing.
