Lixue nodded, she thought she had gotten past this but she realized the Yu family still affected her as much as they did in the past.
"I think I need a glass of water and some fresh air…"
"Should I?"
"No…I want to be alone for a while.."
Lixue rolled out of the bed and walked out of the room, when she got downstairs, she downed a glass of water and walked to the front door.
The crisp night air greeted Lixue as she stepped outside, her bare feet brushing against the cool tiles of the porch. The moon hung high in the sky, its light casting a silver glow over the villa's grounds. She wrapped her arms around herself, shivering slightly but relishing the calm that came with being outside.
"It's such a beautiful night," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "Why do I get such dreams?"
