Chapter 21 - The Revised

When he reached near us, his aura was superior to our director's. We all bowed down in silence.

Master: "He is a third-level 8-star Emperor level."

"He is strong."

"I am Sushan from Iron Flame Academy. My purpose for visiting here is to make an announcement:

The Earth realms will hold a competition among all six regions. The topmost group will then compete with the students from the Heaven Realm.

This announcement comes from the World Government. The competition will begin in three years.

Each academy should form two groups, with each group containing no fewer than two members. There will be more academy groups, so prepare well.

Without further delay, I urge you to train as hard as you can. The future is in your hands. Thank you for your time."

All stood in silence.

"So, the competitions are held every three years between Earth and Heaven. If that's the case, I will have to train hard. As for the master, he also belongs to the Heaven Realm," I thought.

Back in the Heaven Realm.

Yuanyu Terrace - Primordial Jade Terrace

"As the prophecy said by the fortune teller, Wei Jun, shouldn't you be less worried? I guess we should talk to the elders and search for that descendant."

"We should talk with the members of the Kaizu RA realm. Maybe we can stop this war if we collaborate with them."

Back in the Class.

Xie Ling: "As all of you heard what the elder said, we will have a small competition within the class.

Form three groups, and we will select the strongest team. I think our director will select the strongest team to represent Quinzhi Academy soon."

"As this is only a first step, we will compete soon. So, from tomorrow, level up your skills. Class is dismissed for today."

The class murmured, with gestures exchanged. "I want to team up with you, let's team up."

Master: "Yin, if no one wants to team up with you, it's okay to form a group with just one person. We will head into the woods for cultivation."

I guess no one will team up with me, but it doesn't matter. I will face the challenges alone.

The Next Day.

Xie Ling: "If you have formed your groups, go to the Mohe Forest with your group, kill the beasts, and harvest their cores.

Cultivate and return after one week. Some of you may also visit any library or attend classes to cultivate your skills.

If you cause any trouble, use this talisman paper. I will come directly."

Yin stood outside the academy, the cool morning breeze lifting his dark hair slightly.

The thought of competition with the Heaven Realm loomed over him, and though others were pairing up, he felt an unshakable determination to train on his own.

There was much to do, and time was quickly slipping away. Today, he had a plan: to explore the Air and Fire Breathing Books room to search for ideas and techniques that would allow him to unlock new power.

Entering the academy's vast library, Yin walked past rows of shelves filled with ancient scrolls, each one holding secrets of cultivation, battle techniques, and forgotten histories.

The walls of the library were adorned with paintings of legendary cultivators, their eyes seeming to follow anyone who dared walk through.

He took a deep breath and headed toward the room he had been told about—the Air and Fire Breathing Books room.

It was a secluded space within the academy, known for containing knowledge that dealt with the manipulation of elemental forces—air and fire.

Only the most advanced students or those with specific permission could enter, and Yin, having received the approval of the director, was one of the few because of having realm weapon..

As he approached the door, it seemed to shimmer, an unseen force guarding it.

With a swipe of his hand, the door slowly creaked open.

Inside, the room was dimly lit, with books floating in midair, their pages turning without any physical touch.

The shelves were filled with scrolls, each one carrying the scent of old parchment, and the atmosphere crackled with faint energy.

Yin stepped into the room and walked up to one of the floating books.

It was a thick, leather-bound tome with golden symbols etched on the cover, glowing faintly. His hand reached out, and the book dropped into his hands

The title read: Air and Fire Breathing: The Art of Mastery.

Yin opened the book, and the first page revealed detailed diagrams and explanations of the principles behind both air and fire cultivation.

It described how the elements were not just external forces but also tied to one's inner energy, or Qi.

Yin's eyes narrowed as he scanned the page, the information fascinating and overwhelming at the same time.

The technique described how one could manipulate the air to enhance movement and speed, creating powerful gusts of wind that could shield or attack.

The fire element, on the other hand, was more aggressive, dealing with the creation and control of flame, bending it to one's will.

He could feel the potential within him to harness both elements, but it would require time, effort, and the utmost focus.

Yin flipped through the book, finding several more advanced techniques:

Wind Fire Strike, a combination of air and fire energy that could obliterate enemies.

Flame Wings, a technique to manifest wings made of fire and air to fly; and

Cyclone Blaze, a devastating attack that summoned a powerful storm of fire and wind.

The book made it clear that combining the two elements was a delicate process that could lead to disastrous results if mishandled.

Yin knew the risks but also understood the rewards.

Closing the book, this was kind of power he needed. But first, he needed to understand the basics of these two elements deeply.

Determined to master both, Yin set his sights on the next task. It was time to head to the Mohe Forest, where he would face the beasts that roamed the land and harvest their cores.

With the book still in hand, Yin left the library, feeling the weight of the knowledge, he had just obtained.

This was just the second day of my class, and we are assigned immediately. Quinzhe is indeed one of the top academies and almost each and every one is strong.

Before he was about to leave, a group of people came near me.
